As a die hard Raptors fan to the end...I've got to say...this is the most ironic thing I've ever seen. Antonio Davis left in 2003 because he HATED this city. Welcome back, buddy.

Getting rid of Jalen was a great move...however, I'm a little bitter about losing the draft pick. Seriously, Jalen was atrocious this year...nowhere near where he should be.

All I hope is that this doesn't limit Villaneueva's minutes...because he needs to play for his development's sake.

Davis is havin a lot going on in his life these days
Suspension, being stuck with Kendra, now going back to a drop dead team with no chance of winning a championship
I wonder if trading the first rounder was really worth it though

IMO this a rehash of the infamous Carter trade. The only difference is that Rose sucks and we sent the knicks a first rounder and cash somehow. for who? Antonio Dvais and his 5 point ands 4 rebounds off the bench. Wow I thought Babcock got fired.

Knicks taking on more money. They're going to become the New York Yankees (minus the talent) of the NBA. don't forget they owe 40 million (over the next two seasons) to a player that retired last season.

I think you're forgetting how much cash this frees up for the Raps. There have been quiet a sum of interesting FA's entering next year. Say the Raps manage to sign, say, Jason Terry. It would all be because of the Rose deal. I think Yao Mings a FA next year as well...

Hate to say it, but he's on to something. Yao will only go somewhere with a large Chinese population and very few realize Houston has a good sized Chinese population which is why he accepted going there so readily.... if he leaves as a FA, it's only to a major city with a large Chinese population - and he's settled pretty well in Houston.
