What Phil Jackson said about refs in Dallas was just dumb. I watched the game, and it seemed like Lakers got more of the calls there way then the Mavs. Also what Cuban gets the Mavs more bad calls then he gets good calls. Every ref hates Cuban, and they hold a grudge against him, so they punish he's team.
Also by watching this game, I noticed how lazy Kobe Byrant is. When his team is running down the court to stop the fast break, Kobe is walking back watching his team give up points. Also after he got blocked, and he has a chance to stop the fast break, he sits there and complains to the Refs.
Those are just my views.

And those comments you made about Kobe are why he will NEVER be as good as Jordan, let alone put in the same pool. Everything's about Kobe and he'll play when he feels like it apparently. Who cares about the damn Lakers? They're not going anywhere.

Phil's always been about complaining about the refs...it goes back to his days in Chicago once the Bulls got a couple championships, and it probably goes back to his CBA days too. He's always been that way, and he'll continue to do just because he's Phil Jackson.

I think Kobe is a special talent, and I think you could put him in the same league as Jordan - but not this year, not next year, I mean, down the road a few years. I want to see what he does when he's 33, 34, 35, etc. He's in the prime of his career at this point, and he's going to put up huge numbers nearly every night. But to do that at the level that Jordan did for so long - that's the key.
But what I see as the difference, is that Jordan made everyone around him better. There wouldn't have been much out of Scottie Pippen ever, and other guys that he played with like Horace Grant and Steve Kerr. Kobe? No way. You could say that Lamar Odom has somewhat become an afterthought, and Smush Parker hasn't really had a chance to showcase his talent...although Brian Cook had a nice game against Dallas.
But as for Jackson's comments, I would disagree. Cuban is one of the NBA's most colorful guys, and I know if I was a ref I would be rather annoyed by an owner that wore t-shirts with off-beat sayings on them, and would constantly yell at me for questionable calls. Not to mention reviewing tapes of previous games that I've called. That's just me though.
EDIT: To go along with what DB said, I think the controversy with the officiating in the Super Bowl has carried over to this "scandal" of sorts, I wouldn't really call it that, it's just a minor story.

People are reading into his comments way too much. Well I made this, because I find that Jackson is just mad about the butt whopping that he took. The Lakers got the calls that game, and that might be a little bias, but Dallas wasn't even playing agressive enough to get any calls against them.
