DB it looks like you are decently represented lol. I'm just glad King James is starting. And hey, is it confirmed that Jermaine O'Neal will not be playing? If he doesn't, does Rasheed Wallace become the default starter?

I was gonna raise a little hell if Bosh wasn't a reserve. If he played on a bigger market team, he'd get so much more consideration for a starter's spot IMO.

JO won't play, but that doesn't necessarily mean Rasheed will start. A name like Chris Webber could still pop up.

When did Pau Gasol become a center? Wasn't he a F on the ballot?

Webber isn't even a reserve. Bosh or Sheed will be the starter, unless Webber pops up out of nowhere and gets on the team...

They'd bring in a forward to replace O'Neal, which is why Webber has a better chance than Arenas (who really deserves to go) or Redd (who doesn't really deserve to go).

I'm a Wiz fan, but its not even a bias comment to say that Arenas got screwed. Almost 29 ppg, and he doesnt even get in as a reserve?! Rediculous, its just a popularity contest.

Arenas was named to the roster to raplce Jermaine O'Neal today. This basically means either Rasheed Wallace or Chris Bosh (probably Wallace) will start for the East.

If anyone was to get in, I'm glad it was Arenas, since he has practically had to carry the Wiz through this season, much more than you can say for Webber or Redd right now.

I'm speechless. Arenas put up amazing stats this season and plays his heart out and all he can get is a, "Well he cant play so you can play for 5 min now." I'm disgusted.

95% of NBA players play their hearts out. Probably not the best way of phrasing things, but I get where you're coming from.
Who said he'll only get 5 minutes? Flip Saunders isn't stupid.

Dude, Bibby, Arenas will play more than 5 minutes, but I think he really wasn't considered for the ASG because he doesn't have a high fan base around the league like AI does. If he were more popular, then he would be the starter.

The Eastern Conference has so many great guards, it's hard to fit them all in. You can really only have 5, and with 2 of them starters and out of the fans hands, there's only 3 positions. I mean, all 4 of the guys going before Arenas are MVP candidates right now. I agree with Billups and Hamilton, and Arenas deserves to go. Jason Kidd isn't going, and he's averaging 15/9/7. Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis seem like locks to make it almost every year. As mentioned before, Michael Redd, who would be the best shooter on the floor had he been in.
Shame on you for trying to take a cheap shot at Flip Saunders too... the guy has only led his team to the best record in the league, and you think he'll only play 5 minutes. If he did, I think that may be the fewest anyones ever played by quite a bit.
