Which one of these guys will be able to come into the NBA next year and be able to help out right away? I'm gonna say J.J. Redick, because the hoop isnt any bigger nor smaller in the NBA than it is in college. So he should be just as great as a shooter, the only question will be, can he get any open shots. And with his range, he can step back to create that seperation, and still knock down J's.

J.J. Redick will NOT be a star in the NBA. He'll be a solid shooter, but not much more. Think a much better version of Kyle Korver.
I think it's Adam Morrison. He has the potential to become one of the best SFs ever to play in the NBA...not saying he will, but he could.
(from nbadraft.net)
Adam Morrison: NBA Comparison: Larry Bird
Strengths: A special talent ... Old school right down to the stripes on the socks ... Like a coach on the floor ... Incredibly competitive ... The game comes very easily to him ... A great player in the half court ... Can create offense for himself or others ... Really excels with the ball in his hands at the top of the key ... Very good scorer with complete offensive repertoire ... Effortless shooting stroke ... Has great anticipation and basketball understanding ... Great intangibles, competes and inspires others to play hard ... Hard worker ... Plays with great intensity and aggressiveness ... Fundamentally solid, does all the little things to help his team win ... A true competitor. Will not back down from anyone ... Wants to take the big shot ... Sees the floor well, and is creative finding teammates for baskets ... Catches and shoots, or can shoot on the move ... Great at moving without the ball ... Finds a way to score against betetr athletes ... Great leadership ability ...
Weaknesses: Not especially gifted athletically ... Lacks great foot speed getting out into transition ... Runs decent, but needs a head of steam ...Better hand speed than foot speed ... Leaping ability is average ... Plays hard on defense but lacks great lateral quickness ... Lack of a great first step will make it harder to get shots off against superior athletes ...

Redick can actually dribble and drive, he is much more than a spot-up shooter.

Which is why i said a much better Kyle Korver.
I'm not saying Redick's gonna suck...and I think most, if not all the guys listed on the poll will have an immediate impact...but Morrison, I think, will have the biggest.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't see Aldridge or Gay leaving early for the NBA draft. Unless UConn wins the national championship, then maybe Gay will, but other than that...not sure. Aldridge needs at least one more year.

I believe its Morrison, because he can play inside, and he can shoot the jumper, hes more versatile then J.J. Redick

Definitely Rudy Gay in my mind. He's the perfect sized SF you want with tons of athleticisim to completemen his talent. He's got a great midrange jumper, and he's not a coach killer either..
I'm not completely bought on Morrision being able to be one of the best ever. They say it right in the description. He's not that athletic. When he's got a college defender on him, he can still have a good enough quick step and use his build and some of his athleticism to score. But the NBA has bigger and more athletic players. And just by looking at him now in college, if you make him play defense, he can't play at a high level offensively.
J.J. Redick will NOT be Kyle Korver. Sure Redick is known for his 3 point shot, but he can still put the ball on the floor and create his own shot. Korver on the other hand is just a straight up jump shooter who doesn't really get as clean of a shot off like Redick can. Also, as said before, Redick is a foul shot machine and also has a lot more speed than he's credited. If he can bulk up a bit and play a bit better D, I'll take on his stock.
I also would like to add that Aldridge and Williams are great post players, and are probably way under the radar this year in the draft. I see these guys as NBA starters down the road, and being two of the best rebuonders in the league...
but yeah I think Gay is ready..

*sigh* Everyone is taking my Kyle Korver comparison wrongly. I said a MUCH BETTER version, dammit! Not just a spot up shooter! Argh.

Redick is polished. He can do more than shoot, but there is a big difference between driving to the hoop against Nik Caner-Medley (who I love so don't get me wrong) then NBA players. Players react quicker. J.J. won't get as many open looks as he won't be the focal part of whatever offense he goes to. Teams will now have the players to actually play a defense against him. I think he will be a solid role player and a great shooter off the bench, but not much else.
Morrison does not have the potential to be one of the best SF ever. I think he will be a nice starter for 5-10 years, but that's about it. I know it wasn't your comparison DB, but to mention Morrison's name in the same breath as Larry's is an insult.
That being said, I really don't see many stars in this draft. I think most will take a while to develop into anything. There is no player in this draft that is going to turn a franchise around.

I know, I saw the Larry Bird comparison and almost gagged. You don't compare people to Larry Bird.

I'm not so sure Redick is a "much better" version of Kyle Korver.
Kyle's fairly big at 6-7, and that release, well it's what makes him special. Unless you're dogging him around the screen, he's going to catch that pass and get off a shot in less than a second. He'll make it too.
Contrary to popular belief, he's not just a catch-and-shoot player. You can't make that claim unless you watch every minute of every game like I do. It's completely bogus. His post-up game, ability to take charges, and team defense is outstanding. He boxes out and makes heady plays. He's a basketball player.
Redick will be an early lottery pick, but do I think he'll blow people away? No, not at all. He's going to be a solid sixth man, much like Kyle Korver, but not a "much better" version of Kyle Korver.
