Dropped 48 tonight. No one ever questioned the kid's skill, just his work ethic. So far, he's proved everyone wrong and is looking like a steal at 7, instead of a bust.
With him and Bosh, Colangelo certainly has a base to work off.

Didn't Bosh say he did not have plans of re-signing in Toronto?

I definitely think Villanueva will be a Top 10-15 player in a few years' time. He's just too good.

Don't you fret...Bosh'll be back. With the Raps having another high lottery pick this year, hopefully they can pick up a nice guard to complement the two incredible young bigmen. I'm hoping for a guy like Brandon Roy at very worst...but hopefully the ping pong balls can be good to us and we could land someone like Gay or Morrison...but I'd be content with Roy.
Colangelo is smart, so I have full confidence that he WILL NOT draft another PF.
Villaneueva will be runner up to ROY this year, which is more than those damned ESPN analysts predicted.
Mike James has also expressed the desire to re-sign, and he looks like the offensive point guard that no one thought he would become. I'd gladly keep him for another 2-3 years.
Yep, finally my American friends, things are looking up for basketball North of the border.

I think Morrison would be a good pickup for the Raps. But NBAdraft.net has the raps getting Gay at the 5 spot. If they can get Morrisson they'll be in good shape. They should try to sign and trade Jones for a first round pick though if thats possible. They need outside shooting and if they could get Morrison or Gay high, then get a Redick type player late in the first round they'd be in very good shape for next season and in the future.

Colangelo has stated that he wants to trade away the Raps lotto pick in a deal to get some more vets on the team... Anyone else read that RealGM article?
