I usually keep all of this stuff to myself, but this is flat out blowing my mind.... (yes it's mid game.... right after 3rd quarter right now)
YOU ARE OUTCOACHING YOURSELF POP! What the hell are you doing?! Why in the world can we not have 2 bigs in there... matchup problems, you're kidding me? Let them shoot outside all day, I don't give a crap, they won't hit over 45%.... they won't have layups all day long.... San Antonio does not adjust to play anyone.... they adjust to us. To make us change our entire philosophy this series has gone right down the crapper... if we needed to change our style for Dallas, why did we not need to all year.... why did we play Tim, Rasho, Nazr and Horry all significant minutes during the regular season....
If anything, SA should have changed their philosophy against Phoenix last year.... we didn't, they played to us, and we beat them 4-1, an awesome block away from a sweep.
For the love of god Pop, put a big in the lane and keep them out of it.

Well, if nothing else, his poor tactics are making for a superb basketball game Spurs winning 99-96...doesn't look like it's going that badly. I still wish the Pistons had landed Mike Finley.

Well have fun in the offseason Spurs. ;D Isn't that what Laker fans were saying up 3-1 on Phoenix? If there's one thing I've learned from this year's playoffs is never write anyone off. If the Spurs come back to win the series (which they have the mettle to do) you're gonna look awful silly.

The thing about the Lakers is that the Lakers depend on one player too much, and when that happens a team collaspes. The Mavericks are commanding, and are play great. Also I think the Suns were more skilled then the Lakers by a pretty big margin. The Spurs-Mavs gap is very small, and can lean either way.

Hey, I agree with you, and I think the Mavs will win the series...thought so all along. But you can't count anyone out...especially the Spurs.
