Rajon Rondo in the top ten? He'll be lucky to break the top 20. There are at least 2 point guards better than Rondo in this draft - 4 if you count Mardy Collins and Randy Foye as point guards.

Why would the Celtics need another 2/3?

Why would the Celtics need another 2/3? Cause Danny Ainge is there Gm , and Paul Pierce will be out soon.

Regarding Paul Pierce, it's been said he'll be traded for a good 2 years now, but it doesn't seem he's going anywhere.
And Danny Ainge generally has great drafts, but blows it with terrible trades.

He was a top 10 prospect entering the year, and has reportedly been a workout freak. There's been a lot of talk about interest from the Celtics at 7. Not sure how I feel about that, but he is definately on the rise. And Ainge is a pretty decent GM. Have all his moves worked out? No. But atleast there is a plan laid out. And the Truth is retiring in green.

The Raptors dispatched Sam Mitchell and Wayne Embry to Italy to watch Andrea Bargnani play. I'm personally thinking they move down 2-3 spots in order to get this guy, although I disagree with it. Believe me - I love Bargnani's game, but I think he's the last thing Toronto needs. They already have Villanueva/Bosh ... why draft a poor man's Dirk? Rudy Gay or Adam Morrison (even LaMarcus Aldridge) would make much more sense. youtube.com/watch?v=z14brkHotT0&search=Andrea%20BargnaniI love how the announcer is all, "rah rah rah BARGNANI rah rah rah BARGNANI!"

Well, I am thinking Morrison would make more sense for the Raptors. The Raptors are set on big men, not much else. Morrison would be a great addition, and I envision a lineup consisting of: G - Mike James G - Morris Peterson F - Adam Morrison F - Charlie Villanueva C - Chris Bosh

once again the NBA and fate screw the Raptors over. A few years back they shoulda had the #1 pick but for some reason ended up drafting second (can't remember why) and missed on getting AI. Now the first year the Raps have the #1 the NBA changes the policy so that High Schoolers can't be picked so there goes getting Greg Oden or whatver his name is. Plus a fairly crappy draft at the top with no one player really standing completey screws the Raps. I fully expect the Raps to take some crappy player, trading him in 2 years and once again losing all their good players.
BTW I blame Vince Carter for this.

Yeah, so the NBA knew the Raptors were going to get the number one pick before the season even started, so they made it impossible for you to get one player. I mean, there's no good college talent out there, right?

Because, if you remember, Rudy Gay, LaMarcus Aldridge, Tyrus Thomas, Adam Morrison, Dee Brown, Terrence Dials, JJ Redick, Maurice Ager, and Rajon Rondo suck. God, this draft class SUCKS.

Um ya, not all those guys will have poor NBA careers. Just cause there is no LeBron in this draft, doesnt mean none of them wont be 'ok' pros.

I was kidding about the VC thing. And I wasn't saying the NBA "knew TO would get the pick and implement the new rule" I said TO got screwed this year because they were unlucky that they got the #1 pick this year.
BTW regarding this class do any of you think there is that one player out there that could change the Raps, or any team's for that matter, fortunes this year or in the future.

Maybe Bargnani if he lives up to his Dirk comparison. Possibly Gay.
I do think LaMarcus Aldridge will be ROTY.
