Yeah, leave it to me to make this thread...eh?
So post what you'd like to see your team do this offseason.
Pistons, obviously:
Trades: Rasheed Wallace for a younger big who can score down low and maybe a backcourt player. Rasheed was worn out his welcome in Detroit, and hasn't done a thing since we won the 2004 Title. All of our low-post scoring disappeared in these playoffs, so any trade should definitely involve a forward who can score.
Sign and trade Ben Wallace (MAYBE depending on his demands). I can't believe I'm saying this, but he's not getting any younger and if he asks for too much, get him out of here. He's worthless offensively and it will be difficult to replace his defensive prowess, but surely a solid center and possibly more backcourt help could be had for him.
Signings: If the above trades don't work out, we NEED to sign someone who can come off the bench and score. I still think Michael Finley would have been the answer, but we couldn't get him. We need to find someone.
Draft: We have one pick and it's the very last one, so whatever...

Celtics: Trade LaFrentz for someone who isn't a cripple. I like him and all, but his knees are like a 59 year old mans.
Draft: Either a center or a point guard. We're all set a 2, 3 and 4, but Delonte isn't a surefire point guard, and Perkins gets into foul trouble very easily.

Raptors: Draft: Who cares it doesn't matter who the get he'll end up somewhere else whether he is good or not.
Trades: They will prob do something stupid like Bosh for some no name so for right now do nothing unless it involves Rafeal Arjuo (or whatever his name is).
Signing: Resign bosh longterm and hopefully Mike James.THEY REALLY NEED A TRUE CENTER. GET ONE.

So here's my take on the Cavalier's offseason.
DRAFT :: We need a backup point guard, someone who can be groomed for the future, when Eric Snow departs. I'm thinking Rajon Rondo. In the second round, we need a backup big, someone like Taj Gray. These two guys could become an integral part of the Cavs in the future.
SIGNINGS :: First, re-sign Flip Murray. He was excellent off of the bench, and was the main reason we were in contention while Larry Hughes was gone. Then, we need to re-sign Gooden, but initiate a sign-and-trade, so we could free up cap space to sign a key free agent, and his name is Nené. Then, in the free agent pool, go after a few guards to bolster the bench.
TRADES :: We need to get rid of Z. I say we trade him to the Pistons, since they are a more offensive team, and get Ben Wallace in a sign and trade.

At pick 42, if you guys pick Taj Gray, you need to fire your scouts. If Ryan Hollins is still available, I'd much rather take him. Even Craig Smith would be a safer pick than Gray IMO...

Craig Smith is going to be taken mid-second, as is Hollins. Gray would be excellent. If Terrence Dials is still avalible, I want him too.

No freaking way do the Pistons take Z for Ben Wallace. You're gonna need to add a LOT, because we don't want Z....

The exact middle pick of the 2nd round is pick 45, and you have pick 42, which is pretty close, so I don't know where you're going with taht...

DRAFT :: A big man, who isn't soft and can provide some points in the paint. He should also be a good shot-blocker.
SIGNINGS :: Pryzbilla is one name I'd wanna go after. Shooting guard, whose got the long range game and the defensive game. I'm too tired to think of names.
TRADES :: Trade Hayes and Etan Thomas. It looks like Etan's gone, as soon as there's someone who wants to give up their bag of chips. Hayes will also be hard to trade away because of his knee problems, but he's still got talent. So for a team who likes to take risks... Those are the trade-aways.

Oh, and Jamison, the only way Ben Wallace plays elsewhere is if he gets a huge offer....so if you want him, you're gonna have to assume all 8 to 9 figures of the salary he might want....

nbadraft.net has us taking Gerry McNamara. I'll take that.
Honestly, we had no 3 point shooting in the playoff, we need someone who can come in and drain a few.

Trades:
There's been some talk of Samuel Dalembert + #13 for Eric Williams/Alvin Williams + #1 ... won't happen, but moving into the top five would be ideal. Dalembert + #13 for #4 has more of a chance of happening from what I hear.
If Webber can be moved for an ATHLETE, I say do it. If a deal comes along for Iverson that benefits the Sixers, by all means DO IT.
Signings:
Marcus Haislip worked out for us last week. He'd be a nice athletic swingman to bring off the bench. Jay Williams will be working out at PCOM on the 19th, so we'll see how that goes.
Draft:
Cedric Simmons (aka The Next Theo Ratliff), Shelden Williams, or a SG/SF at #13.
Rudy Gay, Andrea Bargnani, Adam Morrison, LaMarcus Aldridge, or Brandon Roy if we move into the top five.

Too bad Morrison is the crappiest defender probably in the entire draft. Actually, I shouldn't say that. Morrison appears to play tough d, but it's the Kyle Korver Rule of Defense. Korver has no lateral quickness, and Morrison is no different. Now that I think of it, it should basically be the White Guy on D Rule. White people just don't have lateral quickness that can compare to that of African Americans...
And Daly is still starting...
