Isiah Thomas is the new head man.
Discuss how much the Knicks front office sucks......now.

I love Isiah Thomas for what he did at IU, but dear God, as a coach and GM, the man just cannot cut it. I can't fathom how anyone thinks he can do better than Larry Brown.

How's that dream job working out now Larry?
They could bring Jesus in there to coach and he wouldn't get anywhere as long as Isiah Thomas is calling the shots.

to me, i think the Knicks are worse off than the Atlanta Hawks
now, before you call me crazy, i have to say that the Hawks aren't going to the playoffs anytime soon, but the Knicks i feel are just plain dumber than the Hawks
Atlanta does trade a lot of its better players away for draft picks that we waste on bust picks, but the Knicks just don't do anything to go in the right direction
first off, Larry Brown and Stephon Marbury (sp?) was a match made in Hell, and Isiah Thomas has proved that he prefers his players over one of the best coaches of all time
the Knicks won't be going anywhere anytime soon, and i feel they're the worst team in the NBA, not based on records, but based on their overall team, including the front office

Abe Pollin and LArry Brown have a pretty good relationship. I'm praying the Wiz can reel in Larry. Haha, so far-fetched.

Isiah is going to have to try and coach himself out of his own mess now. Sounds like another terrible season to me.

Ugh...I need a new favorite team. Isaiah's plan must be to drive the team into the ground because they're just not cutting it. Get rid of Garb(age)ury, Isaiah Thomas, Q-Rich and build around Channing Frye, Nate Robinson, and Crawford. That's all that's 3 of the 5 starters right there, not so hard.

There are only 2 people the Knicks should retain - Robinson and Frye. Crawford is nothing special. Trade everyone else for draft picks and expiring contracts, slash payroll, and start over. You'll have some terrible years, but hey, it's not like you're going anywhere now....

Crawford is terrible. No way should they keep him. They don't need any more sub-40% shooting guards...

Sad thing is, wasn't so much on the job Larry did but the money they payed him and expected from him. The front office of the Knicks might be the worse in sports. They dump Larry and will now fight not to pay him. Isiah will hold his job for two years before he's gone and the Patrick Eming era begins... ok maybe not Ewing, but at this point you could suit up Rick Mujeras at the point and play better then they are now.
That team has too many chiefs, not enough indians. Time to start fresh with the roster.

He won't even hold it for 2 years. Book it.

He won't even hold it for 2 years. Book it. I think your right DB. After the job Isiah has done, do you really expect him to work with the same talent as Larry Brown, and be better at coaching it?
