believe it or not its only 1 day away. WOW post some mocks or thoughts or anything. I wonder if MSU's big 3 will all go in the 1st round. I doubt it, since I think Brown and Ager will go, but I just don't think the scouts want Davis because he is a good shooter, they want to change him into a post player and that will never happen. He is strictly a shooter, personally, he reminds me a lot of Nowitzki.

Latest rumor out of an extremely reliable Philly source is that the AI/Boozer/Szczerbiak trade, which was thought to be debunked yesterday, still has legs and is imminent.
Boston would send the #7 pick and Delonte West (or another young player) to Philadelphia, Wally Szczerbiak to Utah, and would receive Allen Iverson.
Philadelphia would send Allen Iverson to Boston and would receive the #7 pick, Carlos Boozer, and Delonte West (or another young player).

Here my mock, Version 1.0, with the top ten:
01. TOR -- Rudy Gay [Connecticut] ------------------------------------------------ Brian Colangelo shocks the world by going with the safe pick in Gay after playing the Bargnani smokescreen amazingly well in an effort to gauge the pick's value. ----- 02. CHI -- Andrea Bargnani [Benetton Treviso] ------------------------------------------------ Chicago gets the guy they wanted all along in Bargnani. ----- 03. CHA -- Brandon Roy [Washington] ------------------------------------------------ Charlotte disrupts the tentative Atlanta/Houston trade by selecting Brandon Roy. Although he recently blew off a workout with the Bobcats, Jordan is high on Roy and will most likely bypass Adam Morrison as a personal decision. ----- 04. POR -- Adam Morrison [Gonzaga] ------------------------------------------------ If he's there, he's a Trailblazer. There isn't much more to it. ----- 05. ATL -- LaMarcus Aldridge [Texas] ------------------------------------------------ The Hawks would've liked to bring in Luther Head and Shelden Williams in the proposed Houston deal, but Aldridge is just as good, if not better. Watch this pick closely. If a point guard such as Randy Foye is picked up at #5, there's a trade in the works - possibly with Philadelphia for Allen Iverson. ----- 06. MIN -- Randy Foye [Villanova] ------------------------------------------------ This is a sure pick. The Wolves like Foye and he likes them. It's a loving relationship waiting to happen. ----- 07. BOS -- Marcus Williams [Connecticut] ------------------------------------------------ Boston wanted Foye but Minnesota stood in the way. What do they do? Go with the next best thing in Marcus Williams, a popular pick from the New England area. ----- 08. HOU -- Ronnie Brewer [Arkansas] ------------------------------------------------ The Rockets are in a very unfortunate position at #8. They would've liked to get Brandon Roy via Atlanta. They would've liked to get Randy Foye. It's my belief that the Rockets will pass on Tyrus Thomas and go with a more pressing need in Brewer. ----- 09. GSW -- Tyrus Thomas [LSU] ------------------------------------------------ The Marvin Williams of 2006, Tyrus Thomas goes from a possibility at #2 to a major steal for the Warriors at #9. For the second year in a row, they select a smallish power forward specimen. Unlike Diogu, Thomas possesses some of the traits of a versatile wingman. ----- 10. SEA -- Patrick O'Bryant [Bradley] ------------------------------------------------ Prototypical big man that the Sonics desperately need. It's either O'Bryant or Rodney Carney. My guess is O'Bryant.

Though I hate Duke, I am a fan of J.J. Reddicks accomplishments, and whoever gets Reddick in the middle or end of the first round will have a contributer for many years. He's a pure shooter, and that will carry into the NBA. Those players always carry into the NBA. He reminds me of Pacer great Reggie Miller when Miller played in UCLA, and if he doesnt start within the next 3 or 4 years, its because hes on a team that uses him for his shooting specificly.
In the NBA today, it's impossible to spot a start, besides Indiana star Greg Oden, before he's drafted. With what Reddick is going to offer, he doesnt seem to be a typical Top 10 draft pick, but if you know he'll contribute, that that should put him in the running. I wouldnt be suprised if a team takes him as a safe pick rather than gamble on a player that might never amount to anything.
With that said.... I am hoping the Pacers get somebody that's good enough to do something with a team that I have no idea will be made up of. I watch the draft, but thats why the NBA is the third watched sport in America.... No player stays on the same team for longer than 5 seasons, and 6 of the Top 10 picked in the draft never prosper. That's the sport. It's a gambling game on paper.

I'll come out with something like an hour before the draft tomorrow. Mocks are useless this year.

Heres my mock...
1. Toronto Raptors: Rudy Gay SF UConn - Breaking News.... Andy Katz says its going to happen. Those Bargnani smokescreens were just that, smokescreens. They don't need another big man but a compliment.
2. Chicago Bulls: Tyrus Thomas PF LSU - Chicago needs help inside, quite possibly Thomas's explosiveness could give Chitown the edge they need to play consistent as they build up a young promising team. No reason to take a chance on a foreign big man at 2 (see Pistons).
3. Charlotte Bobcats: Brandom Roy PG Washington - With Jordan becoming part owner of Charlotte and him being a "fan of Roy's game" I see this being a no brainer. After two straight seasons of taking forwards with their first picks, I see Charlotte moving their interest to their lackluster guard play.
4. Portland Trailblazers: Adam Morrison SF Gonzaga - A true gamer that doesn't have an attitude problem. If anything he is just overconfident. Portland lands a leader and a homer, oh and a scorer.
5. Atlanta Hawks: LaMarcus Aldridge PF Texas - This is a draft of needs. No where is it more apparent then in ATL. Ok they need everything, so best player available works ;D
6. Minnesota T-Wolves: Andre Barnani PF Italy - Want a nice side dish to KG inside, AB won't slip past 6 (via T'Wolves or trade). And hey a chance at the next Nowitski, why not.
7. Boston Celtics: Randy Foye SF Villanova - Hometown guy and a good fit in Boston.
8. Houston Rockets: Ronnie Brewer SG Arkansas - News is Houston are between players they think will be available at 8. They are more then willing to trade out, but will most likely lock-on here. Brewer is a fast scoring threat.
9. Golden State Warriors: Patrick O'Bryant C Bradley - Unless AI is making a trip out west, look for the Warriors to go big or go home.
10. Seattle Supersonics: Cedric Simmons PF N.C. State - Is it the big man or the 3-point shooter? Well you have Ray and Rashard, I still say they need Reddick, but Simmons seems like its the pick.
Look for Reddick at 11 to Orlando...
With all the trades possible, this thing could change big time!

True but I think your right if they add a solid 2 guard Charlotte will be alright. Still a really young team. My mock is so wrong! But this year is really a toss-up, no one will know for sure.

New Orleans- Shannon Brown 16. Chicago- Jordan Farmar 17. Indiana- Maurice Ager 18. Washington- Josh Boone OR Shawne Williams 19. Sacramento- Sergio Rodriguez(Spain) 20. News on SportsCenter about an hour before coverage begins:
Toronto will select Bargnani at #1 Charlotte will select Adam Morrison at #3 Atlanta will select Shelden Williams at #5
The trade between Portland and Boston (Telfair for the #7 pick and most likely Dickau) happened after the deadline, so Boston will still be making the pick at #7, but it will be for Portland.

The Sixers reportedly moved up to #10 with #13 and $3,000,000 cash. Seattle will pick for Philly, and vice versa.
It's 90% right now.

Dick Vitale's head is already about ready to explain just talking about Bargnani going #1. I can't wait to see how far J.J. Redick falls and seeing Vitale get worked up.
Edit: Andy Katz gives the complete details on the Telfair trade:
Boston gets: Sebastian Telfair Theo Ratliff 2008 2nd rounder
Portland gets: #7 overall pick Raef LaFrentz
