He's an arrogant ass who thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread? I dunno. LeBron's not an arrogant ass. Rasheed Wallace, on the other hand.... You don't know that bud.... Unless you speak with Lebron regularly.

Rasheed's not arrogant.
An ass, sometimes, but not arrogant. It's confidence, not arrogance.

Yeah, but it just doesn't seem like he is when he's around the public. He seems like a perfect gentleman. And DB, I believe Sheed "Guarensheed" a game in the playoffs and we beat you guys, then he kept talking and saying stuff, and we took you guys to 7 games. I mean, I think that's arrogance.

You don't know how Lebron is, except when a camera's on him either on the court or when he knows there's gonna be a camera around. You don't see Randy Moss walking around with a camera on him smoking a joint do you? So you can't tell me how he is off the court...
Although I'm not saying Sheed's any better...

arrogance : The state or quality of being arrogant; overbearing pride.
OR
overbearing pride evidenced by a superior manner toward inferiors .
But if you ask me, it's like Manny... "Sheed being Sheed".. that's all it is

The thing is that Daniels doesnt fit in Avery's system, and he was just really not the guy for the job. So the Mavs didn't want to pay for a player that isn't a player they will use.

I was fine with the trade of Daniels but I thought they could have done better on who they got in return

And it seems Ronald Murray will be heading to Detroit for a pretty cheap price.

Well if you can get a guy that can get you 8-10 points in 20 minutes for that cheap, it doesn't hurt...

Flip doesn't play much defense. As great as he is, he can be a liability.

All this tells me is that we're turning into Phoenix Suns wanna-bes.
Not good.

Except we don't have an interior like the Suns have in Amare or Thomas. As long as we have a gap in the post, we'll never contend with the elite.

I don't see the harm in having Flip. Play him 10 minutes a game and let him score a bit, and when he's surrounded by all these defensive-oriented players, he'll eventually pick it up somewhat, or else he'll know he won't be playing. It isn't like he's going to be playing 30 minutes a game or anything...

Flip doesn't play much defense. As great as he is, he can be a liability. Not many players do play defense

The Pistons pride themselves on defense, even if their offense was awesome last season.
