Blaze are you on crack? How does Denver start this fight? I agree with sep 100%. The Nuggets were playing basketball....who cares if they dunk it and such stuff like that, sure it isn't very classy, but to say that started the fight is rediculous.

NBA should be ashamed... And disbanding.
I mean seriously, get the wanksters out of the NBA.

The wanksters make the NBA. The NBA lost it's class years ago.

This is a shining example of why college sports absolutely own pro sports.

The Nuggets were playing basketball....who cares if they dunk it and such stuff like that, sure it isn't very classy, but to say that started the fight is rediculous. That's not the point. Yea Collins fouled J.R. Smith but as an athlete you know better than to get up and just go at it. All he had to do was get up, go the foul line and shoot his shots but no, not in the NBA where it's illegal to be classy. They go off, then everyone goes off, and then Carmelo decides to take a cheap shot when everything was finally settling down. The Nuggets started it play and simple, blaze's excuse is poor and Isaiah Thomas is a jackass but the Nuggets started the FIGHT. The Knicks may have provoked it but the Nuggets are grown men and athletes with millions idolizing them; they should've brushed it off and moved on. Sorry..just my thoughts. Either way I don't care...the NBA sucks and Carmelo's lost all my respect. And Nate Robinson makes me laugh. 5'8" thinking he can take some friggin 6'2" guys and stuff...haha...these guys are so pathetic.

I understand your reasoning, but come on, it's a meaningless point in a game and you're going up and a guy jumps on you and basically pulls you down. With adrenaline going and all, I highly doubt you'd just get up and walk away, you'd at least have words with the guy which is what happened, then Nate Robinson comes in and it all goes crazy.
If you watch the video, JR Smith gets in Collins' face about it, but it's Robinson who comes in and throws the first punch.

Nate Robinson is a little b**** who averages more rebounds than assists, as a 5'8" PG.

DB is right, the Knicks threw the first punch. I understand your reasoning as well, they get paid and should know better. But I forgot if it was Karl or Thomas who said it, but adreneline is flowing so fast and the game is physical as it is, and to have something like the foul the Knicks commited was just bound to set something off...

I think the suspensions are completely fair...thought maybe Robinson should have gotten a little harsher penalty (he threw a punch too, hell he started it with the punch, yet Anthony gets 15 and Robinson gets 10?)
But the NBA had to send a message that this stuff wasn't going to happen in their league and they're gonna make an example out of these guys.
