Neither of them are on top teams right now. (Kobe's team is doing pretty good, but thats because he is getting some support now)

Don't blame the players, blame the refs.
Don't even try to tell me that college refs are completely and utterly unbiased towards everyone.

So what? You're saying that just because their on subpar teams, that it doesn't matter what happens?
That's exactly what's wrong with the NBA. Not the playoffs. The fact that the fans it does have don't care about the horribleness of the league. David Stern is not a good commissioner, and nothing positive is going to happen until he's gone.
The fact that you're so close minded about this kind of scares me. There is so much wrong with the NBA (the Knicks start a fight and Carmelo Anthony gets suspended longer than anyone) and apparently none of it matters because it's not the playoffs.
DB, obviously there are biased refs. But it's sickening in the NBA.

Carmelo punched someone. I think their objective was to make a statement that just cause Melo was a star, he ain't getting off easy.

DB, that's what I'm saying. Look at every post and not just mine.
longhorn said that star treatment doesn't matter because it's not the finals. I'm saying that that's the problem with the league, everyone is thinking that way. You have pretty selective reading.

Miami went to the championship, not as a team, but pretty much as 8 individuals...
LeBron James is averaging more points than the 2nd and 3rd leading scorer on his team, and they're winning the division.
So pretty much, by your logic, your saying "Don't watch any other games, unless they're by the Pistons, Mavs, Suns, Spurs, and Jazz because everyone else isn't going to make the Finals anyways."
It's going to be a real funny day when LeBron leads the Cavs to a title averaging about 40 points a game and getting bogus calls all over the place. Because that's really where the league is going...
