just announced >>> sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2733891Pacers Get Troy Murphy Ike Diogu Mike Dunleavy Keith McCloud GS Get Al Harrington Steven Jackson Sarunus Jasiciv... Kevin Powell seems to me that the warriors get the better end of this deal, but murphy and diogu could have huge upside. let the trading season begiin Also Steve Blake was traded to denver in exchange for earl boykins (i think)

I wouldn't want Stephen Jackson anywhere near my team.
If he was not in the NBA, he'd be mugging my grandmother.

The Pacers just couldt get back on the same page as Al Harrington, so I knew this was coming. Jackson is a thug and Jaskivicous was signed to be traded so this is a good do for the Pacers...
I think Murphy will fit well with Jermain O'Neal better than when Harrington was here and O'Neal played Center all night. Dunleavy will give O'Neal a breather and play well. Diogu could get good, but will take time.
As for McCleod, I can see Tinsleys time being cut finaly. McCleod protects the ball and is a good free throw shooter.
I think Indiana knows they wont make the playoffs this year, atleast a good seed, and that they are making strides to get better physicaly, mentaly and financialy now.

Pop kept SJack under control in SA pretty well. He was a great player here.
I'll never forget going into Academy (main sporting goods chain here, mainly a TX/south thing) and SJack is in the checkout with his crew, wearing a big floppy fishing hat buying all of this fishing gear to head out to the lake. Was a pretty funny sight - was just chillin with everyone and goofin off with all of the fans who came up to him. He was a good guy here and I think pop and the organization had a lot to do with that keeping him in check.

Ya, I remember him being a great under-the-radar (nationally) guy for SA. Ever since he left there for ATL he seems to have drastically changed. Goes to show you what a strict but fair coach and organization can do for you.

I see... I was like 7 or 8 myself, but I knew enough about the sport to get heartbroken every year. You might as well have tatood Michael name across Reggies A** cause Jordan owened him every season.
If it wern't for Jordan and the Bulls, the Pacers would be a much more popular team than they are now haha.
