OK, I have been doing a lot of thinking about the NBA Draft since January. Assuming Oden and Durant come out (and they will) who goes third? Most people seem to think B. Wright will. Personally, I love Al Horford and think he is going to be better.

I'd take Horford over Wright if I wanted a big man, but if I'm going for a guard I'd take Brandon Rush...

Number one, Oden isn't coming out. He already stated he is not ready for the NBA. Number two, I would go for Al Horford.

Yeah, just because an athlete says something, doesn't mean it's gonna happen that way...

Depends on who has the 3 pick. If I had that pick I would go for need over talen because the talent level of all the players is so high at that point.

Number one, Oden isn't coming out. He already stated he is not ready for the NBA. Number two, I would go for Al Horford. Chad Ford reports: One prominent NBA player agent, who asked not to be identified because he was revealing confidential discussions, told Insider that he had enough contact with Conley's father, Mike Conley Sr., to be 99 percent sure both Oden and Conley Jr. were coming out. "I think Oden really wants to stay in school," the agent told Insider. "However, I think he's feeling a lot of pressure from family and friends that the opportunity to be the No. 1 pick is one he can't pass on. I think Conley Jr. wanted to make sure he was the top rated point guard in the draft before declaring. He didn't want to settle for a mid-to-late first-round pick. With his play in the tournament, I think he's there. Next year, with O.J. Mayo in the mix, he may not be." One other agent essentially confirmed the first agent's story. EDIT: Rush is not going to go anywhere near the Top 5. I like him, but I'd rather take Acie Law or Nick Young over him. This draft is not about the guards though.

Hate to break it to you....but Chad Ford, like many of ESPN's "experts," is an idiot who shouldn't really be trusted.

I know Rush isn't near top-5, but I don't like Young anyways... and if I didn't need a point guard at all, I suppose Rush has Law there...
And yeah, I think Chad Ford is the biggest sucker out there. If anyone ever brings up a "Chad Ford report" more than half the time he's wrong...

Didn't Vince Young say he was staying for his senior season also?

Considering Greg Oden is loving college life right now, I'd have to say there's a good chance he'll come back.
But if we win it all, Oden and Conley are gone. No reason to come back whatsoever.

No one in their right mind would pass up the money involved with this right now to stay in school for an extra year and have the naysayers pick apart your game.

Dude, I love college. But, if someone is waving my millions of dollars in my face to play basketball, I'm bouncing. I would be utterly SHOCKED if both don't come out.

Joakim Noah has also lost a lot of money by staying in school. I'm not faulting him for his decision, but it is a fact. He is still a lottery pick, but he was top 3 last year. 5-10 this year.

Didn't Vince Young say he was staying for his senior season also? Uh if you mean Vince Young the Texas Quarterback, then no he left his junior year. Oh and Oden and Durant are coming out this year, very little doubt in my mind. Too much money for Oden to pass up.

I was making a point that Oden is all talk for now. Young said he would stay, but a few days later he announced he was leaving. Yes bama, I know he is in the NFL now....
