Detroit, Miami, and Cleveland are the 3 teams I'm hoping don't make it to the Finals... some of the West series look pretty good though, but NHL playoffs will always trump the slow-moving NBA...

Im rootin for the underdogs- Golden State, Toronto, and Washington (although Washington will get bounced early). I really think the Warriors can knock off Dallas so that'll be interesting to see.

Golden State won the season series 3-0, but the playoffs are a totally different animal.
But I'd love to see Golden State win that series.

If Golden State wins the series, all the brackets need to be changed up in the West.
I truthfully believe that the Warriors are capable of making the West Finals. Against the Rockets.
And the East Finals will be Cleveland and Detroit.
Cleveland wins championship over the Rockets.

The only date that matters in the NBA to me is May 22nd.

EVen though nobody cares about this sport anymore it seems. Don't worry, ESPN still cares. Just everyone else doesn't. Knicks over Clippers in 6.

Well the Raptors lost but did so in a fighting effort. They are just too inexperienced right now but I think they'll rebound especially if they get a healthy Mo-Pete. I also loved hearin the Toronto crowd- they were so loud and so passionate. Its too bad they all wore red while the Nets wore their red unis as well.

If anyone thinks Golden State has a shot at the WCF, they need to watch 5 minutes of a Mavs game. Offensively, they're still the juggernaut they were last year, and they actually play decent defense now too. If Dallas gets pushed, they can easily top 120 against the Warriors mediocre defense...
And if Cleveland wins it all and I have to have LeBron shoved down my throat more than he already has been I don't think I'll ever watch ESPN again...

I just find it funny that GS somehow managed to sweep the season series. I'm sure Dallas will win, but it's weird and all.

The key to winning is Don Nelson- he built that Mavs team so he knows their strenghts and weaknesses. Sure the Warriors have a crappy D but their offense can run with the Mavs. Out of all the teams I seen this year, they are one of the more entertaining to watch. They wont make the WCF this year but if they dont mess up their roster in the offseason, they can contend next year.

Nelson didn't build this year's Mavs... offensively he may have, but defensively it was obvious he knows nothing about, and it shows with the way Golden State plays it. They won't be a contender as long as the Spurs, who even on the decline are still strong, Suns, and Mavs all keep the majority of their pieces. Way too much heaviness around the top of the West, and if they win more than one playoff series in the next three seasons I'd be very surprised, and even just winning one would be unlikely in my mind...
It's not that they're a bad team overall... if the West and East were balanced out more, they could be a team this year that makes it to the 2nd round...

I know nothing about the NBA, but it's gonna be the Mavs winning it with ease.

The NBA is losing popularity because nobody wants to be a part of the image associated with it. At least that is how it is around these parts.
With that said, I think it will either be the Mavs or Suns over the Bulls. It is hard to say either the Mavs or Suns because I think it is whoever can last the full seven games. Those two will take a lot out of each other if they are matched up head to head.
