Golden State is fun to watch.......they have me watching the playoffs even though I don't like the NBA.

Yeah, Golden State is tearing it up right now. In my opinion, Dallas is confused at how the Warriors are approaching the series -- with a Finals attitude. They're running every second on the court, and that's really taking the Mavs out of their rhythm, because the Mavericks, though a fast team, can't keep up with that small lineup... I think it was Ellis, Davis, Jackson, Richardson, and Biendris on the floor at the same time last night.
That, coupled with the fact that Don Nelson pretty much built that team so he knows how to play them, I think the Warriors will beat the Mavs in the series.

the Eastern Conference has been the Pistons' to lose for the past couple of years, especially this year with D-Wade being injured..the Cavs might go to six in the ECFs but Detroit will make another Finals appearance and if the Mavs make it out of the first round, I expect Dallas to be there again

The Cavs will be lucky to go to 5 against Detroit. The Pistons own LeBron...

Golden State's making a believer out of me.
Assuming we get by Chicago (they've given us some issues this year....Miami won't be coming back against them) we will be Cleveland in the ECF unless we suddenly fall apart like last year.

So it turns out the Southeast Division has yet to win a game. The Pistons swept Orlando, and the Wizards and Heat are down 3-0.
Weak division.

The Bulls can play us well. But I think our experience and talent will win out. This Piston team is much hungrier and probably better than last year's, and I see us making the NBA Finals and depending on how the West shakes out, winning it all.

Much hungier? Um every team that was in the playoffs were hungry for victories except for the Wizards who just gave up. But the Bulls have a ton of grit. The way the scrapped against the defending champs was impressive. Nobody expected a 4-0 sweep and nobody's expecting to see the Bulls prevail over the Pistons. But it could happen.

Course it could happen. Anything COULD happen. But last year's team just seemed ready to go through the motions and seemed to think 64 wins would be enough to ride them to the Finals. This year they really want to win.
The Bulls are a very talented team and they scare me much more than Cleveland, who get a cakewalk against Antawn Jamison and the Wizards reserves. They beat us three times this year, but the playoffs are a whole different animal, and I think we will win the series in 6.

I've been rooting for Golden State through this series, nothing against Dallas, but I just want to see an 8 beat a 1

I know nothing about the NBA, but it's gonna be the Mavs winning it with ease. Hence why Golden State is up 3-1 right now. I'm never coming back to the NBA section, I make myself look like a fool.

I thought the same damn thing, but I watched the GS game last night and probably will keep doing it through the series. That was the first NBA game I watched this year too.

Donnie Nelson owns Dallas if he gets one more win. And Dirk will never hear the end about how he chokes...
I'm rooting for Chicago to come out in the East. Maybe New Jersey would be alright (even if they are the weakest team). But unless the West team really intrigues me, I have no interest watching the Pistons or the LeBrons...
