If Atlanta passes on Conley, they can easily draft Javaris Crittention- the hometown product. He's rated as the 2nd best PG in the draft from what i heard and i think he'll evolve into a great player.

Law is the 2nd rated PG on most boards.

well i think law is a scoring PG. they dont need him considerin they have Joe Johnson. I just like Crittention's upside a lil more.
putting the hawks aside, i hope Michael Jordan and the Bobcats choses wisley with the 8th pick. I LOVE this teams talent and potential and it would make me feel happier if they pick up a wing player incase Gerald Wallace goes to free agency. every year they have a great draft- i cant wait to see what they do.

I love Gerald Wallace. I only get to see him a couple times a year, but the guy seems very underrated to me.

No way Wallace gets to free agency.

I haven't heard this mentioned anywhere yet.... tv.... here... whatever....
THANK YOU for Atlanta getting in the top 3 and keeping Phoenix out of 4-6. That could have been scary and now all of a sudden, they only have marion and stoudamire to worry about without the high level draft pick coming in.

I think Law will probably go higher than most people expect, but who do you think will go #1? I think you have to take Oden, but I guess you can't go wrong with Durant either.

Oden is more fit for Seattle because they have enough shooters, need a big man. Durant is more fit for Portland as they need more shooters. What they should do is trade Randolph for Shard and then Oden to Portland and Durant to Seattle. Both teams would be more balanced that way.

Being the 2nd best PG in this draft class is like being the 2nd best player on an injury-depleted Celtics roster... Conley is the closest thing to a gem by PG standards, and everyone else (asides from Law, who can shoot the ball) is pretty much taking advantage of a weak guard class this year. 07 is the year of the big men... And sep, I know you're just throwing that out there, but Shard's going to be a FA, so he'd probably make more money as the big ticket on the market than in a sign-and-trade... Lewis would have to be signed for no more than $60 million unless fillers got thrown in for that deal to be plausible...

Portland already has Randolph and Aldridge- i dont see them nabbing Oden.
Seattle should grab Durant because they have a crap load of developing centers such as Petro, Collison, Robert Swift, and Sear (whatever his name is). They spent their previous lottery picks on big men- why give up on them now. If the Blazers get Durant, the Sonics should trade their pick to someone who wants Oden in order to get some consilation.

I think the Blazers take the prototypical center that they need. They already play Randolph at PF and maybe move Aldridge to SF or just play him off the bench. Sonics then get Durant, who should compliment Rashard Lewis nicely.

Oden is going to Portland. Alrdridge can't be a SF. But this means Zach is gone. Portland won't cry too much over him. Durant will be a perfect replacement for Rashard (who is gone). Very similar players, although Durant should be better.
Also, low blow McGahee...but true.

Hmm were losing PJ Brown, Ben Wallace cant carry the team and Tyrus wont have the stamina to start a game and be in it for a while. Also with a big man we can move Wallace to forward and have the draftee be the center.

I just looked at him, that looks like a good pick for us. Hey, atleast my hatred of OSU can go on. Hopefully Oden is a bust for the failures in Portland.
