I dont know why Boston would do this deal when they already have Ray Allen and Pierce.
Gerald Green, Telfair, Al Jefferson, and Theo Ratliff are now T-Wolves. I guess Boston is desparate to win NOW.

Telfair and Ratliff definitely aren't going to ever help them win...
Delonte, Allen, Pierce, KG, and Gomes/Perkins ain't too shabby of a starting 5 if they can share the ball. Delonte will probably go from a 12.5/4.5 guy to a 9/6.5 guy...

Forgot about that... a good point guard is the only way to make it work with what they have. Not looking as good as I thought really...

Boston also has Rajon Rondo, who they are pretty high on. I don't like the trade in the long run for Boston, but they need to fill seats and make the playoffs, so it makes sense why Ainge pulled the trigger on this deal.

Rondo is better than Delonte anyways. The Celts will have a good starting five but they' wont have much depth.

This is like an NBA Fantasy Draft gone wrong in my opinion. The idea of Garnett, Pierce, and Allen sounds great, but when you realize they most likely will never win a championship and traded 9/10ths of their team to add two of those players, while all are over 30 I believe. Plus two future first rounders. Horrible team management I think.

Danny Ainge should be just be in charge of scouting. He drafts amazing people, but he trades them. Delonte, Gerald, Gomes, Jefferson...maybe now we can trade Davis and make it complete!

Word around Minny is that Gomes will be cut loose once the roster is trimmed down and will re-sign with the Celtics.

I was standing in line waiting for my hotel room when I heard this....three guys that couldn't lead their own team to the playoffs, all on the same team? my question is who's the "go to guy" in the clutch? and is there chemistry?
