none of them has shown the ability to carry a team, that's what defines a leader in the NBA

none of them has shown the ability to carry a team, that's what defines a leader in the NBA Garnett is single-handedly responsible for every post-season appearance (and pretty much every regular season win) Minnesota has had. If he can't be rallied around, then there isn't a single leader in NBA history. Sure, Ray Allen isn't exactly the most vocal guy, but he has taken teams to the playoffs before, including the Eastern Conference Finals... And I seriously don't know what more you want out of Paul Pierce...

I'm not, but if you are going to call someone dumb, at least get it grammatically correct.

the reason why these three can co-exist is because they aren't ball hogs

the reason why these three can co-exist is because they aren't ball hogs I thought this was gonna be a colossal failure cause none of them were leaders

they can co-exist, but history says that a team full of all stars doesn't work.... but we'lll see in June where they end up...the way people are talking now, it's Championship or bust for the Celtics this year

This is pretty much like when Shaq, Kobe, Malone, and Payton were all together in LA. Guess what, they were better and still didnt win a title. Dont expect Boston to either.

They're much different players than that of three selfish players in Shaq, Kobe, and Malone, and Payton was just not good enough and far too old when he finally landed in LA as was Malone. People overrated them. KG, Allen, and Pierce are all pretty much in their prime; they all play unselfish ball and can work as a unit. I don't think it's fair to give this group one season either. It's a 1/30 chance of winning it all...if you're questioning whether they can run the table though in the Eastern Conference I honestly think you gotta rethink that.

well looking at the East, there's four, maybe five teams outside of Boston who could make a push at the NBA Finals

Los Angeles was a winner every year before that even happened. Boston was the second-worst team in the league last year. A Finals isn't a priority this year. Just make the playoffs.
