Guys, I'm trying to figure out to work my Hawks 'chise.
Do I play a full 82 game season or do I play a 29 or 58 game season?
How often do I post the stats and other NBA related news?
I know that I'm going to play 5 or 6 minute quarters and I will make the simulated quarters the same length, so my guys can have even stats. I'm probably going to start on All-Star mode. Make it a little challenging.
In football, I post stats and articles after every four weeks I play, but obviously basketball season has more games.
Unfortunately I didn't get to see anybody's dynastycentral NBA franchise.
Just a little feedback from those who have posted NBA franchise.

Unfortunately I didn't get to see anybody's dynastycentral NBA franchise. Well, there weren't really any, so you didn't miss anything. I think....maybe....one person ever finished an 82 game season. Everyone else got bored and quit long before then, so I would advise against it.

Most users couldnt do an 82 game season but definetly tried to. With NBA dynasties, you should update daily because the seaosn is such a grind. You dont have to make in depth reviews or large stat tables but you have to post the important things like 'Al Horford dropped 20 points while Acie Law followed with 16,".
There was one period where NBA dynaties were active but that died out long before DC shut down.

If you can have fun with the dynasty, do an 82 game season. Remember, you want to do the dynasty to have fun. Basically, if there was no dynasty central, would you do an 82 game season regularly? That is how you should decide the length. If you are basing it around DC, it has a good chance of failure.

Freak, you're exactly right...I usually only do 58 at the most, so I can I get more seasons in. If I do 82, I would get bored too quickly. I can't watch my team develop, not to mention with myschedule being as hectic as it is, it would take forever to finish an 82 game season.
So I think I'm going to do 58, that will allow me to play everybody twice. 29 seems to be short for reporting. I can finish a season in a weekend if I do 29 games.
Blaze, I don't know reporting everyday, lol I think I'm going to handle it like my Madden franchise. I'll write up all the articles and then just post them like 3 or 4 at a time, so you guys won't be overwhelmed reading them. I hate when I'm bombarded with articles, it's hard to keep up. I'll post stats after every four games or so and transactions and other NBA news, every month, unless something major happens and I just have to report that thing.
Thanks for the feedback

I figured out how to report things. I'm going to give like a Notes and Quotes kinda thing. Short game synopsis and thoughts/comments from two of the players. I'll post full articles for big games (division games, or if they beat a team with at least a rating 10 or more points better, etc. MIA, PHX, LAL, DET)
According to the demor our rating is a 77, I can work with that. On 2k7, we were given a 55.
