My dad grew up in Chicago so I find myself partial to the Cubbies and now another injury! Prior's 5th trip to the DL and with Wood and Nomar out, we could be introuble!

When are they gonna realize Prior isn't worth it. They should trade that guy to the Yankees, their always looking for pitchers, especially if they feel they can turn him around.

BTW, if you wanna trade Prior, the Tigers could use another starter to replace Jason "Mr. Blister" Johnson. ;D

Because Felipe Lopez did a quick physics problem as the ball was coming towards him so that he would know at exactly what strength, time, and location to hit the ball so that it would not only break the bat, but it would cause the bat to hit the shortstop. Get him off the baseball field...put him in a laboratory. He's like the next Einstein. |

It is actually his 6th trip to the DL. And this is not an injury that is because he is injury prone. However, that does not matter because he is probably done for the year. I'm not sure of the long-term ramifications, but he's not being traded, especially to the Yankees. Yes, they have money, but they have no farm system anymore.

Prior=injuries The Cubbies should trade him for a premier reliever because with him on the DL he isn't helping the team out anytime soon.
