I'll be starting this one, just waiting on a layout...obviously I won't start with real stuff until spring, but I'll keep track of offseason stuff when I get it started.
My question to you - how should I do this? Shall I wait for spring and use the actual rosters? Or should I take over as GM now, make some moves that I'd like to make (realistic, of course), and play with my rosters on the new 2005 game (ESPN or MVP, I haven't made up my mind yet)

Good idea. Although they suck, try and make someting(realisticly). Who cares about real moves, players are going all over the place, j/ make stuff happen yourself and we'll follow. Also, I think that MVP is the better game. I have been a diehard EA fan, but MVP is in it's last year and it's a great game. Use MVP.

I might be starting a MLB Dynasty with the Indiana Fury, a created team in NBA. Not sure yet, i'm busy with another Dynasty at the moment.

It sounds like it would be a lot of fun to me, taking over now...I'd keep everything within reason, I'm not going out and signing Carlos Beltran or anything.
And about the game - MVP is in its last year? Hmm...I haven't heard that. I'm gonna get both, I guess it depends on what I like...

My bad man... I wasn't even paying attention to what I was saying. Get MVP baseball, because ESPN sucks. It was All-Star Baseball that ended it's tenure last yer with Acclaim sports. I liked that game.
I wanted to start an Indiana Franchise in the MLB, but idk what i'ma do. Idk if I should j/ wait and see if one of the new games have create a team and it looks good, or use the old All-Star game, because they have a nice Fury emblem I guess is ok.

It doesn't matter what you guys do, once I get MVP 05 I'm going to own the MLB section. And don't name them Indiana Fury...that sounds way too much like our WNBA team (the fever)

That's true, along with the Firebirds of Arena football. But considering that's the only logo in ASBB 05 that's good, and MVP might not have create a team for the 2nd year now.... i'd have 2.

If you change the colors maybe, them colors are not the nicest to the eyes. Hate to admit it, but both you and Leak will be surviving on the lack of competition haha. It's gona be good to see Detriot and Nafsder compete with Jets in the MLB, because the NCAA still remains to be the only site that has consitent competition for the...well....2nd through 5th spot.

Terps would be angry at you for discouraging people to make MLB dynasties *Violent fist shaking at Nafsder for his confidence* Get All-Star Baseball. I like it better than MVP and ESPN, best franchise mode, and I personally love the gameplay. And as for the MLB section, throw Terps2k3 into the fray when spring comes. I dunno who to use yet though, I might go with my fav, Toronto, or maybe another team. |
