Is there a way to update rosters in high heat 2004? I'm talking without downloading since I dont have xbox live. is there a way to edit/add players to teams?

d00d, High Heat sucks and is old. Just trade it in and get yourself a new baseball game, I reccomend MVP 2004. If you're tight on cash, ESPN MLB is a decent game for $20.

What don't you like about MVP? It's a great game. Well its not that it sucks its just that they made very little improvements from 2003 and 2003 wasnt very good either. it seems like they only added manager mode, minor leagues, and the ability to control how you slide. they made very little changes to the gameplay which was the biggest problem in 2003. it is almost impossible to walk someone or get walked even on the highest diffuculty. in fact its very hard to even throw a ball.

I don't think it's that hard to throw a ball. With practice, you get good at it. Besides, in real life, it's not too easy to throw a ball either, it takes plenty of strength and accuracy. So that makes it realistic. But if you don't like it, then that's just you.

I didn't play 2003, but IMO the minor leagues are the single greatest improvement of a sports video game in recent memory. Even with MVP's numorous flaws, the minor leagues will make me keep getting it year after year

I have a much older version of High Heat (2001 I believe) and at the top, where it has File,Whatever, Whatever, Whatever, Help, the one before help had the option to edit players in it. As for finding updated rosters, just run some google searches.

MVP Baseball 2003 was the best baseball game I ever played (behind All Star Baseball 2001). I finished a couple seasons in it, playing every game. The only bad thing about it was you couldn't hit a homerun with anyone over 50 power (well, you couldn't hit like 20) and if they were over, they hit about 50 a year.
MVP Baseball 2004 wasn't all that awesome, but it never got old. I could not play for a month, and then pick it up and play it again. I only finished one season in MVP 2004.
It's actually easy to walk people if you tinker with the sliders to make it loads harder. I used ParedFIA's from GameFAQs.com, and they were great on the MVP Difficulty.
I myself never played High Heat, but I've heard it was a great game. BstkBallr himself even told me it was good, but I guess he had a change of heart with that post in this topic. (This is Gat0r.)
