Anyone have this happen....

the ball hits the pitcher in the stomach and the ball goes up in the air and the pitcher dives and catches the ball. It sweeet!

Yeah, I love all the extra animations they've put in..the pitcher whiping his forehead and the back of his head when he gets tired, batters almost falling over trying to pull pitches on the outside half of the plate, etc.

I've had my pitcher get hit in the face, fracture his nose, and be out 6 days

I had the same thing happen db. And on a foul ball I dove and lost Hank Blalock for 2 weeks with a broken nose.

I know this isnt big but my AA CF for the Giants Minor leauge Joel VanGaalen slid into second and pulled his hammy. LOL.

In my limited time playing it, I have noticed that the EA Big Plays are much easier to make. I made two diving catches in one game with Adam Dunn, neither of which would have been catches in 2004. I also had some amazing catch animations by Ken Griffey Jr., the most notable where he lunged and got his glove under the ball right before it hit the ground. Also, the new bunting animations are...amazing. I love how the guys are already out of the box when they are trying to bunt for a hit.

I know I have made two diving catches with Marquis Grissom. Man can that guy still hit! And field.

I haven't gotten hitting down yet. Pitching I'm good at, but I just can't seem to get my hitting (it was the same story last season, I couldn't draw walks and I couldn't hit anything but pop ups.)

I just have my good days and bad days. Like yesterday I had 2 HR with my AA shortstop and one with Barry. The other day I had a total of like 5 hits with my AA and MLB team. It's weird!!
