Why is Barry Bonds never in the MVP games? Why is it always that John Dowd dude instead?

Wow, turn back the clock a year ago.

Bonds wanted to be selfish and remove his name from the MLBPA, the players association. With him not in the players association, no video games can use his name.

Same with scabs who debuted in the strike year, like Millar, Cory Lidle, Brendan Donnelly, ect.

Damian Miller is another one.

And it's not necessarily that they can't use him...it's just that if someone did make a deal with Bonds to put him in the game, the MLBPA would refuse to sign on with that game..so you'd have a game with Barry Bonds, but a bunch of fake players and teams. I think anyone in their right mind would choose to just put a fake Bonds in the game and have the rest of the MLBPA players included.

I like what MVP did this year, give EVERY scab a fake player, so we don't need to create every single one ourselves. I think High Heat had it that way, too.
