Since there is no MVP next year EA is making a college baseball game. Will you buy it? and what team will u be?

Source? I find it VERY hard to believe they are making a college game. It's been something very few people have been pushing forever and it's simply not feasible.

Well still very far from an official announcement, but i suppose I wouldn't be surprised. Afterall rumors from a source are simply that. I turned my nba live 99 game on the pc into an ncaa game, so it's not really that hard to do, but it would take tons of time to get things accurate (stadiums, etc). If it happens, I don't think you can anticipate it for an early 06 release.... but I could be totally wrong. |

Where not even sure if there going to make it.. EA hasn't announced anything yet.
It'll be great though, I'll play with UCLA, because they stunk this year.

I actually think that an NCAA baseball game is a fantastic idea...I know I would buy it, for sure. With the increased media attention to it due to there being no NHL coverage this year, maybe this was the break that NCAA D-I baseball needed.
With that in mind, if and when the game was made and sold, would we have a college baseball section here at DC? I think those dynasties would last longer than MLB ones. I don't know if it's something that Stephen has looked into, or if he's even heard of this rumor about this game...

I would think it'd be pretty easy to implement because it'd essentially be the same structure as combining the teams from NCAA basketball and the stats/roster of mlb. Baseball has less teams than basketball, so it might be pretty easy... realigning some of the conferences could take time though, and removing unnecessary teams. Maybe it's something that can be implemented in the redesign, but I think an official announcement from EA would help first. Seeing the earliest a game would be released would be Feb/March-ish, then an announcement might not come for a few months (post-redesign). |
