Ok guys, I know yall dont like to see these topics, but im in desperate need of sliders. I just can't seem to find a good set so please anybody who has good sliders that let you win some games and lose some. I dont want to play my Reds dynasty and go 162-0.

Nevermind I think I might have found some. Do these stats seem realistic.

Schilling Vs. Colon

Man what a game, it was tied 2-2 until the bottom of the 9th. I had runners on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs and a full count on B.Molina(already 2-3 on the day)and he hit in the game winning run. Here some stats, should I stick with the sliders?

Red Sox 2R, 7H, 1E
Angels 3R, 8H, 0E

Schilling 7.0 IP, 6H, 2R, 3BB, 8SO, 2.57 ERA
Colon 7.1 IP, 6H, 2R, 0BB, 11SO, 2.46 ERA

I think you should lower your pitching control. You should walk at least 1 or 2 batters especially with Colon. Other than that that looks pretty realistic to me.

Well, let it go for another game or two and see how they other stats are. It is hard to judge off of one game.

I read somewhere that the pitching control should be dropped completely (I think it's -50?) to give "accurate" pitching control. I don't think you'll EVER get 100% accurate stats, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I allowed 14 walks all year, but I never touch sliders at all.

Well im playing game two with the Tigers(me) against the Royals. So ill post stats for that.

Well you have to remember in this game is that the Tigers do have a good offense and the Royals have no pitching so it was a high offensive game. I do have to turn my user control down so some walks will occur. The Royals were leading 3-0 the first 4 innings. So it was getting intense.

Be careful how much you lower user pitch control, though, otherwise you'll start giving up pitches down the middle of the plate unintentionally if you're not careful with your placement.

Ok since im in an owner mode, lets see how game 2 goes agianst the Royals. This should tell me everything I need to know about if these are going to work.

Well in this one my sliders showed that their can be big offense.

Well so far what do you guys think needs changing. I think im going to bump up the offense for the CPU because their not scoring much.

just play so you enjoy it.... if you make all of these adjustments and don't enjoy it, you're going to quit in the end.... as long as you lose some games, who cares

I always find it best that instead of lowering your control, you raise the CPU hitting so that you have to throw some balls and walk people if you dont want to get taken to the fence. Of course it also depends on what level you have it set at.
