I have finished updating the 3rd and 4th series of the year, but while playing the next few series, I realized the uneasness in Curt Schilling.
He is no longer happy with the organization, and the Red Sox are asking your help for a replacement. So far, there are two teams that are willing to trade for the Sox' need.
Atlanta is willing to trade Andrew Jones. We already have a CF, but he'd make a wonderful repleacement for aging Trot Bixon. Also, they have offerd Rafeal Frucal, but wont give up anything more than him. We are in need of a 2B with Bellhorn strugling.
The Indians on the other hand, have offerd alot fo Schilling. Askinf for the ace right hander, they have offerd C. C. Sabathia, Minor leaguer SS Tom Ryan, and minor league releiver B. Howry.
The Red Sox are looking for a 2B who can field better than Bellhorn, and will give up Bellhorn if needed. Also, I wouldn't mind another pitcher.
Your input would be greatly appreciated to make the decision.

It seems like the Indians are giving you more, and you want the stuff they're giving. I say go for it, and put Tom Ryan at 2B.

Trade with the Indians. That would be pretty fair, plus Sabathia is a good prospect and should be helpfull down the road. Make sure you get him in a long term deal.

Of those three, Indians. Just replace Schilling with another good starter, trading him for say Jones would leave you with a hole in your rotation.

If you want realism go with the Indians, since the Braves would never trade Jones, if you want the better deal go with the Braves fo sho.

Nah, I'd take Jones and Furcal. That sounds pretty sweet to have Furcal at 2B and Jones either in OF or coming in when you need a PH. So I say Atlanta but your decision in the end.

Jones either in OF or coming in when you need a PH. So I say Atlanta but your decision in the end. Jones, the best centerfielder in the league other than Jim Edmonds, pinch-hitting?

Get Andrew Jones and Rafael Furcal, move Jones to RF (or wherever Trot Nixon plays) and play Furcal at 2nd Base.

Ughhh, I'd say go for the Indians, and try for Sabathia, and Belliard. Or if you can't get that go for the regular deal.

Shouldn't Curt Schilling be like, brilliant in the game? If so you could get a lot more for him.

Benoit and Soriano from Texas would be nice...
Also, I'd try to get either Belliard or Peralta from Cleveland if you pull the trigger on the deal.

Yeah, I second that Bravest, Alfonso Soriano would be brilliant for you on second base, also, he used to be Yankee so moving him to the Red Sox and scoring with him against the Yanks would feel good,
I'm gonna try and get Soriano down the line in my Yankees chise sometime, hopefully.

The Red Sox seem to be an older team, obviously, and I would like to get young talent to play for us in the AAA. That's why I thought Ryan would be good at SS. Sabathia is young as well. Soriano seems to be a great deal, I never thought of that.
There will be def. some issues on where Schillings going these next few weeks...

Schilling for Sabathia and Ryan is an incredible trade, but I have to say that it would never happen in real life. The Indians are trying to succeed in the future, not slow down with an old pitcher that isn't going to last more than three years.
If you make this trade, I won't read your dynasty.

What about Brian Roberts? He's young and could work for ya. Kazuo Matsui or Miguel Cairo could also be of help. Or Ray Durham. Or as final as suggestion Marcus Giles. All of em work. Helping in the need for a 2B

You dont read the dynasty anyways Bravest. Nothing of it's realistic almost. I play every game with Matt Clement, and somehow the team wins every game they play. It's kinda gay, but I dont mess with it, I just play the games and write up.
If I get a good deal, I'ma go for it, and Soriano is tempting...

Yeah see what kind of deal you could pull off with the Orioles for Roberts and someone else,,,,that would be perfect because they REALLY need pitching.
