Very nice pickups, but isn't Lawton rated higher than Blake on that game? Also... Who do you have leading off, Chavez or Uribe?
EDIT: Well, I'm assuming that it's one of those two...

That pitching rotation is obscene. Its not to great. Prior - will get hurt (bet on it) Wood - will also get hurt Maddux - past prime (as much as it hurts me to say that as a Braves fan) Zambrano - young, talented Zito - best days behind him, but a solid 15-10 guy.

It's a video game Sep. Prior won't get injured, Zito will strikeout 250 and he'll go back to back.

Zito's only a 15-10 guy in Oakland, and that's taking into account the slow start the A's had. If you send him away to Beantown, he has a fair shot a 20 games.

Maddux's strong points aren't his pitching (anymore). It's the things he can teach to the younger pitchers. He's never had an overpowering pitch, it's his finesse and pitch placement that have made him a probable Hall-of-Famer. When you have as many young pitchers as the Cubs do, I would absolutely kill to have that kind of veteran presence serving as a mentor.

I locked up Zito for another season, so he will be staying with the A's on my DC chise.

Here's a question - What was your team record at the end of your first season?
