Face it - the Yankees would be nothing if a salary cap were to be implemented. Along with the rest of the league.

This is what makes me mad. THere are a lot of teams in the MLB that can have a huge salary, but most teams owners decied to pocket more money instead of putting it into their team. George Steinbrenner is one guy who will put a ton of money into his team.

He is. But he also makes the most money back. No one, not even Boston can compete with the type of money he makes from his club. But, I don't really mind it. I find it (well, not directly) more of a challenge and its more satisfying when they win.

WOW, with a payroll of over $100 million, and the Yankees suck as bad as they do...that is just sad First off, you're off by another $100,000,000.
