Marlins to SA?

Skipped right past the rumor stage and straight to reality pretty quickly. Marlins brass was in town today, held meetings and a press conference with top city officials discussing moving here in 2010 following the lease with Miami..... Marlins stated SA is their top choice with Vegas, Charlotte, Portland and Miami as the other options.

SA has also promised/committed to a $380 million stadium contingent on a move here.

Sounds like a good plan but that will suck for the players right? The players on that team in 2009-2010 will have to try and win their jobs back right?

The San Antonio Marlins wouldn't make much sense. Name them the "Alamos" or something...that'd have a nice ring to it.
