your right Sep, they are paid millions to play baseball, but along with playing baseball you are expected to keep a certain conduct...

Yeah you are ASM, but they are only human. If someone especailly a groundskeeper who works for the franchise starts to harrass you then sometimes you let loose.

Littlet, you really don't know what happens during Sox/Yanks games? All the groundskeeper did was WAVE A TOWEL! He didn't say "I did your wife!", he didn't say that Nelson is a raging homosexual, all he did was wave a towel saying Let's go Red Sox.
Millar isn't a loudmouth. He's a guy that brings jokes into the locker room, and he makes himself look like an idiot. Damon, before he had hair no one even cared about him, and you really looked like an idiot trying to pin something on him.
Sheffield was provoked, but Sheffield pushed him, threw the ball in and then was about to go and get him after he threw the ball in. He actually stopped himself, but you don't push a fan. He got his season tickets revoked, too.
Zim was in the wrong in the Pedro thing more than Pedro was. Pedro saw and acted, he didn't have time to think. He was looking in the middle of the fight, saw Zim running at him and played him like a bull. It's better than punching him straight on and fighting.

If I might also add, under no circumstances is it ok for anyone to snap at and attack anyone. That'd be like condoning Dennis Rodman kicking camera men because he was bound to snap once in awhile. Shefflield is a baby who wants the attention on the team, Giambi is nothing without his steroids, A-Rod is the most classless player in baseball (I know this from both his onfield antics and the type of person he is in the clubhouse), not to mention Randy Johnson, who, for my money, is right up there with A-Rod on the "Biggest Assholes in Baseball" list.
And you talk about Damon, Ortiz and Millar being disgusting and classless. How? Oritz and Damon definitely handle themselves with the highest level of dignity possible (at least for a Boston Red Sox) and are great guys on top of that. Millar also falls in with them, only he's a little more vocal about certain things. You don't hear these guys bitching and moaning on television or see them fighting grounds crew (I'm looking at you Nelson).
Simply put, for my money, the Sox are 10x the organization the Yankees are right now. The Yanks are full of overpaid, attention wanting brats. End of story.
And as it pretains to the trade, I'd say its about even. Manny's production isn't THAT much better than Miggy's. Plus, Miggy is a great defensive player and a good clubhouse guy. I say about even, maybe a slight edge to the O's.

Yeah A-Rod is a classless person. That's why he saved some kids life outside of Fenway Park last season. He ran and pulled the kid out of the street when he was about to get hit by a car.
Ortiz is classy I don't deny that, but Millar to me is a loud mouth and always will be. Sheffield doesn't whine or look for attention at all and if you watched the Yankees like I do you would know that. Sure he looks for attention sometimes, but he is used to being the star on whatever team he's on and he isnt on the Yankees. Giambi is nothin without steroids? Thats why he had his best season in years last year when he was undoubtably not on steroids.
Either way this argument isn't going anywhere because Yankees and Red Sox fans will never back down, and will always have things to say.

I think Giambi was juicing last year, because he was pretty huge. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but he did get back to his roid body stage. You should just stop arguing. Sheffield complained about the Green Moster because he hit a wallball and he said it should of been a homerun. He said Ichiro isn't good, because all he does is hit singles. He is probably the biggest ***hole in baseball, plain and simple.

Just my 2 cents but...
In any PROFESSION, you need to act professional and yes they are human but does that mean we dismiss the fact that Nelson and other baseball players shouldn't have consequences for their actions. If an office worker attacked a janitor, does that mean he/she shouldn't be punished or have something happen to him/her for the actions they took? No, we would punish him/her without question but with sports athletes, they can pay off bail and not have a bigger sentence just because they are athletes. We as PEOPLE has just a weird double standard.
On the juice stuff of athletes, I’m happy that the punishment is harsh for baseball because I want to see PURE talent play baseball and not just some superhuman people who have small testicles hit homeruns. It’s just not my cup of tea.
-------------------------------------
Going back on TOPIC...
I think the trade would be a good one for both teams but I don’t know much about the RED SOX or about the ORIALS but it seems to me they are both good players and will play their best on either team.

Congrats to A-Rod, he finally showed he's a human being. Anyone would have done what he did, it doesn't mean he's any more classy. He treats a majority of people like shit unless he wants something. Good job that he saved the kid, because if he hadn't then he would have not only been classless, but inhuman as well.

It's not like he was the only one standing there There were plenty of people, and police there, and he still did it. Don't try to make it less amazing just because he is A-Rod. Saving someone's life is an unbelievable for anyone.

A lot of people probably reacted, but he got there first. I'm not saying he's 100% an ***, but he isn't Mr. Goldenboy either.

Theres talk of Tejada coming to the Cubs for Zambrano/Patterson/Cedeno. I don't want this to happen as I like both Zambrano and Cedeno. We already gave up three prospects to the Marilns so getting rid of Cedeno is stupid because he is a very solid player. I wouldn't mind seeing Tejada in cubbie blue, but not at that price.

Drew Rosenhause saved a kids life, does that make him a good person for it? And maybe I miserad the big ESPN Mag article about steroids, but from what I believe to remember, it mentioned Randy Johnson juiced too...

I doubt that Johnson jucied also, but maybe he did I really don't know.
I don't think that A-Rod is as much of an ass as you make him out to be. I mean other than the karate chop incident there really isn't much else you can say he did wrong. Plus off the field the guy is great. All that money he makes he uses a lot of it for charities, and especially in foreign countries so you can't say the guy is 99.9% ***. I'm not saying hes a perfect gentleman, but hes not that bad.

When you make 252 million bucks, I'd hope some of that would go to charities. The guy could friggen by a 3rd world country if he wanted to... oh and I believe you were pwned that last post... hooray for hypocrosy...

No because the first one DB posted is completely out of context. If you read the rest of the paragraph he left out you'd see that it was sarcasm so there for I was not pwned, but you were for being as much of a dumba** as DB was in the first place.

I don't know if you knew this, but with certain major leagues i believe it is actually required that players give at least a small portion of their time/salary to charity, it's just that some choose to go much farther with it. And off the field, the guy isn't great. Like I said, I've been around the man when he's off the field and he isn't nice to anybody unless they're doing something for him. He doesn't talk to his teammates most of the time and hides out in the weight room with his possie. Sounds like a fantastic guy, doesn't he?
