Im glad that he is stay, but he needs to stop asking to leave. He should be happy at Boston I love Boston, and I love Manny, but the scrutiny here is unbearable for some. Manny is a private person by nature, lots of people are. While me may forget, athletes are people. Rightly or wrongly, every little thing Manny does is scrutinized. One day people want to ship him out, the next, he is the savior of the Boston Red Sox. It is the nature of the town, and expectations of a 160 million dollar contract. Manny is dealing with the good and bad of those expectations. Just to expect him to be happy and have no complaints though is forgetting that every person is different. |
