Canada is left out, due to runs allowed against Mexico and USA since all three teams finished 2-1. US just crushed South Africa 17-0, the mercy rule had to be put into effect since we were up by more than 15 after 5 innings. Griffey had a pair of three-run homeruns. Im so happy, that Canada isnt advancing, although I would like a little bit of revenge on them, this is the ultimate revenge.

I...don't think so. We didn't get revenge, we lost to them and got lucky.
I don't really care about the World Baseball Waste of Time anyways.

These Canadian players had so much heart, and it's a damn shame that they had to exit like this...that game last night was terrible and I'm betting if they had that one extra day to rest in between games 2 and 3...they could've made that Mexico game interesting. Mexico could ease up at the end of their game with South Africa...but Canada could never let up...not for one inning in the entire tournament.
I think the tournament has been really successful so far...and it's good for baseball in general. But that's just my opinion...

Too bad for Canada. They actually beat us. My hopes of Bronze are fading...
I feel really bad for South Africa. How many runs did they score in the 3 games combined...
