A Real Sad Day

The U.S. is now eliminated from the WBC, losing 2 to 1 against Mexico. How sad is it, that we dont even make it to the semi-finals in the sport we invented

....How sad is it that nobody cares about this stupid competition? It's pointless, if you ask me. Come October, very few people will remember or care who won the World Baseball Crapfest.

Come 2008 when there is no international baseball in the Olympics everyone will be crying for the WBC.

My sentiments exactly. I mean, it's fun to watch and all, but when it's over, not many people are going to care three or four months from now. (well fans would care if a player from their team was injured)

I don't like the way it is setup. If they are going to have a tournament, then simply make a freaking bracket. They go through all the B.S. of stupid stuff, and it gets to confusing. The U.S. would have been put out if Japan won the other night and yet we beat Japan...

I think that this loss hurts the World Baseball Classic. I think this is the one country the Classic need to sell in, and it didn't. The US losing does not help much either. I think Bud Selig knows he is not going to be around much longer so he tried to get something together so he does not look like that bad of a commisioner. Nice job Bud, nice job.

while we sit around and play Nintendo, they play baseball year round. Pretty soon, America will realize the rest of world has caught up in baseball.

We lost because the American "stars" are too busy shooting themselves in the butt with needles to bother to play in the WBC.
