I'd say the NL Central, the NL West has 3 average to above average teams (As long as Bonds stays healthy for the Giants). The NL Central is basically the gonna be the Cardinals beating the crap out of everyone else in the division.

The NL Central will be one of the most contentious, sep.
I think that the NL East will suck this year because the Mets and Phillies will probably underachieve again.

who voted for the AL East? That in my opinion at least is looking like one of the best division this year.

Throw Toronto into the mix. Than, there is always Tampa Bay and Baltimore who will find a way to make it an even better race.

The AL East is definately the most competitive division, without question, as stated above. Two teams from there make it to the play-off's just about every year lately. Toronto made some upgrades, and even my Orioles and Tampa Bay have improved on the off-season. It should be interesting. As far as the weakest division, I would say the NL West again. I mean, San Diego won the division with that, an 82-80 year?

NL West for sure. You could also throw the AL Central in there, but each team in that division have made a lot of changes, and looks stronger as a whole.

AL East is crazy strong this season. Finally the Blue Jays look on paper to stack with the Red Sox and Yankees. Still they are not as good but are much improved and will be fun to watch. The Devil Rays, it goes without saying. And it looks as if the Yankees have bought their way to possibly another good team. The Red Sox lost Damon but not much else. And the Orioles just need a pitcher or 2 to step it up and they could make the race for third place interesting.

Yeah I think people are voting for the best when voting for the AL East.
I think the NL West, I dont think that Bonds will stay healthy, and the Giants suck with out Bonds, It will take a while for the Dodgers to gel. San Diego will be decent, but nothing to special. Also Arizona and Colorado wont be good.

Bearcat, the AL central has 3 solid clubs in the defending champion Sox, the Twins and the Indians. I think the NL West will be the worst, hands down.

I don't know if the Twinkies will be up there with Cleveland and the Sox, but they will be solid, nonetheless. I only threw this division in there due to the Tigers and Royals bringing it down overall...but that's what years of futility do to you.

Thats what we always say about the Twins, it seems like, and every year they are right in it.

The Twins have absolutely no offensive power this year. None. Their only chance at winning the Central this year was to trade for Soriano, but they weren't able to do that and settled for Luis Castillo. They have very good pitching again, but like last year their offense will be their achille's heel. If they want to contend, they'll have to try and swing a trade at midseason for some power.
