The Braves are getting new ownership soon, which means they'll be able to expand their payroll in order to compete with the Mets.

Glendon Rusch is pitching tomorrow at 1:20. Every time he pitches, I get a weird feeling in my stomach. His command of his pitches has been very iffy as of late and I don't know if he should be starting for us.
What I think the Cubs should do is to move RP David Aardsma down to AAA Iowa, move SP Glendon Rusch to the 'pen, and bring up SP Rich Hill from AAA Iowa. Hill is 1-0 in four appearances with an ERA of 1.44 and has struck out 33 batters in 25 innings pitched.

What does paying a lot for free agents have to do with anything I said... I guess I didn't phrase it the right way. The Braves don't exactly go out and try hard to resign their players. Maddux being included in those list of players I named...

Though Guzman is in the Majors now, Hill has a Zito type curve, and with a little more game time can become really good for us. You're crazy.

The one thing that concerns me about Rich Hill is his age. A 26 year old dominating AAA isn't something to get that excited about.

Im a biased Cubs hater, so of course I was going to say that. Although you couldnt pay me to go to a I-Cubs game, so I wouldnt have the slightest clue if they have anyone good.

It's not like we didn't have an oppertunity to win yesterday, we just didn't capitalize. Keep the faith, every team has their rough spots in the season, look at the Yankees.

I feel its safe to say the Cubs have morphed into the worst NL team at this moment.

We need to trade for an offensive first baseman. We need an offensive spark because the pitching is there lately. We just need to score some runs.

Tomorrows gonna be just as bad probably. Angel Guzman is 0-2 and has some issues with pitching lately. I hope that this ends soon!

I'll be at the game tomorrow.
AKA auto-loss for the Cubs, they are like 0-9 when I go to Wrigley, including game 6 of the NLCS. =(
Today's game wasn't really as bad as our games we lost durring the skid, we're starting to string together some hits, but still are having trouble getting the timely hits to happen, let's hope this was only a West Coast thing, maybe the Cubs will get back on track in the Friendly Confines.
