It was a good game, but La Rusa is on crack for taking Carpenter out after 6 innings, giving up 4 hits and having 9 Ks. He's on my fantasy team, Tony, leave him in another inning!

GREAT win today. Barrett came through in the clutch, for the second game in a row, and we got our first sweep over the Cardinals in over 8 years. GO Cubbies!

5 years. Great win, though... it scares me that we've been relying so much on the home run lately, which is what our problem was last year, but I love the way that our bullpen is performing at this point. It was our weakness last year... this year, so far, it's been our strength.

Good win today over the Pirates. It'll be interesting to see what happens to Sean Marshall after Mark Prior and Kerry Wood come back from the DL.

for be a cubs fan my whole life ... its hard to get a break when ur on the cubs  ... I mean we lost Lee, we took two harsh loses so far this weekend and it dont help that Baker has no clue what he is doing |

Nice to see a former Brave succeeding. Looks like Cox and company forgot to hold onto Maddux, although I dont blame them, he was getting very old and wasn't expected to even come close to these numbers again.

I am now officially a Cubs fan. The free t-shirt I got in the mail just put them over the hump I guess. And in case you haven't noticed sep, the Braves aren't exactly the type of team that goes out and pays tons for their free agents. Sheffield, JD Drew, Rafael Furcal, Javy Lopez, etc.
