Yes that's right Americans, the Toronto Blue Jays just beat the Yankees tonight quite handily 7-2 to move into first place in the AL East.

Everyone is coming around for this team. Hillenbrand jacked 2 tonight, Wells is a couple notches away from the triple crown, Rios is finally a true power threat, Glaus has been incredible and has put so much fear into the eyes of opponent pitchers...and that's just the offence.

Defensively, Halladay's back to good ol' Halladay, winning again tonight, Chacin has a rough E.R.A, but he's 4-0...Lilly's been solid, the bullpen has been absolutely outstanding, and B.J Ryan's let up 2 hits all season.

Josh Towers is off to an incredibly bad start and A.J.'s turning into a bit of a bust...but otherwise, what do you guys think of this team's chances? Cause I've been a Jays' fan since I can remember (and no, I can't remember the WS championships)...but this team could really, finally contend if they keep it up like this.

They started out relatively slow, but have come on lately. I like this team and would love to see them in the playoffs this year, but along with the Brewers, they are stuck in an insane division.

3rd is where they'll end up, but I think they could definitely still be in the WC hunt by the end of August or maybe even September...
