Lackey threw a pitch to Kendall in the sixth inning that started out high and inside, then sharply broke back toward the plate. Kendall backed out of the batter's box, then suddenly charged the mound after Lackey barked something at him. The two grabbed each other as they both tumbled to the ground.

What could Lackey have possibly said? Really set Kendall off. Thoughts?

Probably thought he was trying to intentionally hit him, and then Lackey said some smart-butt comment about missing.

Kendall didn't seem to care about the brushback...just lost it at Lackey when he spoke.

I'm all for the brawls now that the Yanks and Sox have stopped, for a while anyways. But unless it was something really bad Lackey said, Kendall had no reason at all to go out there...
