I don't know if anyone else saw, but when I was flipping through channels last night, I saw the end of a Canseco interview on ESPNews, so I'm figuring that it wasn't recorded earlier or anything, but he was talking about how MLB was trying to control which players were getting leaked and which weren't...

I would love to believe everything he's saying is TRUE, because I mean seriously, a) it makes sense and b) it means MLB will hopefully give a crap about it now to stop congress from getting on their ass about it. I'm glad I'm not a "fan of baseball" or anything like that. I like to see what's going on and play fantasy baseball, but I don't care about it like football or hockey or even basketball. Because these baseball guys are getting so screwed right now, and it's a shame. Bud Selig should be a politician with all the empty promises he has made. Sure, he's gotten harder sentencing on these scandals, but if you're going to control who's going to get caught and who isn't, that's corruption at its finest... |
