Great Game! (MLB 2K7)

Well I recently started a Giants GM Owner mode. I decided to play the season opener a short while ago. The game was me vs the Padres. I had Zito and they had Peavy.

This game was a pure definition of pitchers duel. There was only five hits the whole game. Two by them, and three by me. Luckily one of my hits was a solo shot by B.Molina.

The great story is how I pitched with Zito. My settings are fair and I usually play with about a .500 record. I went the 9 full innings with Zito striking out get this 16 batters. So I pitched a complete game shutout with Zito. I can't wait to play the second game. Maybe it will be in offensive show.

i played against my friend and it was my first time. He struck me out 18 times with Johan and I didnt get a hit the whole game and he had 9 Homers in a row, which was his whole lineup.

The game is a tad easy but I'm too lazy to crank it up on the highest level. I'm 21-2 (I think, I know 2 losses) with the Stros and pitching has gotten too easy. I went no-hitter 20k, two-hitter 17k, and no-hitter 16k in a 3 game series vs Milwaukee with my 3-4-5 pitchers. (I think Milwaukee had A LOT to do with that). Otherwise, I still enjoy it. It looks fantastic but I'm still in that 'everything looks fantastic on my new tv' phase.

Well I have my settings cranked up pretty good and just to only allow the cpu to have 2 hits was a really big accomplishment for me, much less the strikeouts.

My hitting was horrid though. I got lucky with B.Molina. Slider high and inside and I pulled it out left field fence.

Wow, I suck terribly at this game then, because I can't get more than 1 or 2 strikeouts, per game.

Striking out players is too easy when you pretty much learn what you have to do to strike them out..... it's amazing how often a FB low outside corner, CH low inside corner, slider or curve out of the zone can strike someone out on 3 pitches. There are tons of common sense things to do to pitch well.... I could list stuff all day but it really is common sense.

Well in the settings you can adjust how much they chase pitches and such. So I rarely get them to swing at balls. Except for when I started Zito's curve right down the middle and it would drop out the zone they would swing...

haha...ya my little brother got it for his psp and lets just say, i got my cubbies stacked within 2 years in owner mode!!! After A world series title in year one and a dissappointing round one exit in year 3 after having the best record in baseball, the team read as follows
