I disagree with his idea that it is Barry's ball. It is the fan's ball. We go to the games, watch the games, follow the sport, buy tickets, etc.

Putting an asterisk on that baseball will do nothing to change Barry Bond's career. Barry has destroyed his own career.

I just feel the whole post is just Gilbert sticking up for Barry and the steroid allegations. Fine and well, but it just seems he doesn't acknowledge that Barry can be a real arrogant prick quite often.
