If anyone would like to argue with me over the media obsession with the Yankees, I'd like to know why ESPN is running a live one-hour plus special right now about the "Yankees Dynasty - In Transition."

I would say they are doing it to attract those retard bandwagon fans who haven't decided to hump the Red Sox nuts. You know, those "life-long" fans since 2000.

When Florida hired Girardi it got a scroll on the bottom line.

The Yankees special is now approaching an hour and a half. When Florida hired Girardi it got a scroll on the bottom line. Yeah, HIRED. The Yankees OFFER him the job and he gets an hour-and-a-half special and the breaking news box on ESPNEWS all day. ESPN'll probably preempt all programming when he accepts. They'll probably throw him a f**king parade. EDIT: Well that's over, just in time for Outside the Lines to talk about it! I feel like I'm watching YES. When's Yankeeography on?

It's annoying but it's better than Tim Kurkjian (sp?) and Peter Gammons blow the Red Sox load 24/7 when there are 3 other teams in the playoffs like they were when they fell behind the Indians.

Facts please. When Boston was down 3-1, Colorado had clinched a World Series berth. There was nothing really to say about them.

you say one thing about the yankees and everybody defends them... interesting, I don't particularly care if they can hit because that's always been a given about them... it's the pitching or lack thereof that will be there downfall.. unless Johan signa with them

I'm one to jump on the Yanks and insult them every chance I get, but what you said was incorrect, so I wasn't afraid to say something about it. The only people that jumped to "defend" them were me (a notorious Yankee hater) and a Red Sox fan.
