Seriously. Beckett is lucky to have finished second. No starter has ever won the award with as few as 200 innings pitched. Both Lackey and Carmona had a higher ERA+ AND significantly more innings.

Reasonable voting would have gone 1) Sabathia 2) Lackey 3) Carmona

Because they forget that production in the playoffs doesn't matter towards regular season awards.
