This guy looked absolutely lost on Sportscenter this morning. He isn't making it very hard for me to believe Clemens. Lied about the party, has lied in the past. Looked stupid when asked if he was a drug dealer. Give me a break McNamee.

I think both of them are losers out to incriminate the other just to try and save what little they have left of their reputations.

Clemens is making it hard to believe McNamee and McNamee is making it hard to believe Clemens because they're both pricks. I suggest settling this by deathmatch.

Clemens has everything to lose by committing perjury. So far, I believe Clemens. So he never had a reputation of being a good trainer, at least in players eyes. What about how is family looked upon him? Just because you don't think he had a reputation doesn't mean he didn't have a reputation in his personal life that you don't see. Even now, Clemens has lost a lot. From now on, whenever Roger Clemens' name is brought up in discussion of baseball, it will be linked with steroids. The same as Barry Bonds, same as Mark McGwire. Whether he actually did it or not, there will forever be doubt associated with him. I think both are adding to their stories to make the other look bad. I still think Clemens took steroids. Hell, didn't Andy Petite, teammate and friend of Clemens, say that Clemens took them?

If you believe Clemens, you're calling Pettite a liar in addition to McNamee. Andy Pettite has a rep, and he would have just as much as Clemens to lose if he lied.
All 3 seem to be lying about a lot, but I think the bottom line is Roger Clemens, whether he wants to admit it or not, took HGH. He might not have done it often, he might not have done it with McNamee, he might not have told Pettite, but there's simply too much pointing in his direction to ignore and call everything a joke...

Hell, didn't Andy Petite, teammate and friend of Clemens, say that Clemens took them? This is just stupid. Yeah friends don't lie ever. And as far as McNamee having a rep, yes he does to his family, but compared to Cy Youngs and having 300 wins, ha. Honestly, who had ever heard of Brian McNamee before this? With Clemens' reputation tarnished, that is too bad. Like he said in the 60 Minutes interview, "That's what this country is. Guilty before innocence."

With the way Clemens and Petite both portray their friendship, I find it hard to believe that Petite would lie about the situation. Let me also say having a reputation with close friends and family is much more important than Cy Youngs and 300 wins. Roger Clemens probably doesn't care nearly as much of what we think as opposed to his close friends and family. I would even bet Roger Clemens himself would admit that family reputation is far better than the reputation you will ever gain in sports. It proves that Brian McNamee has a reputation as well to worry about. Clemens just gets under my skin though. What was his punishment for his actions towards Mike Piazza? He got off with a $50K fine. He wasn't even thrown out of the game he threw the broken bat at Piazza. I just like to think of this as sweet karma.

What about other players who have done stupid things on the field? You don't seem to have any problem with them.

I believe McNamee but not strongly. Both him and Clemens are lying their asses off and hell, maybe BOTH should go to jail for perjury. Congress ripped both of their asses at the hearing and I lol'd when that man Waxman told Roger to shut up.

This is about Roger Clemens. I do have problems with other players who do stupid stuff and get away light with it. However, that is another thread. I still think Roger Clemens used illegal performance enhancing drugs.

There is no truth to this whole thing. If I had to choose sides, I would go with Clemens. An ex-cop who sold steroids? Doesn't sound good.

Well, Elijah Cummings sure was going after Clemens if you ask me. Cummings should be more worried about Baltimore's Stop Snitchin DVDs and less worried about the MLB.

It's not his fault he got stuck on the House oversight committee, Leak. I don't believe McNamee or Clemens. I can't believe either of them. However, Andy "Petite" (must not eat a lot ) is the swing vote, and he swings it in favour of Mack.
