about time the Tigers' offense got going....the previous lack of production from Magglio and Sheffield were killin my fantasy team although i am glad Guillen has been consistent.

I really hope if the Royals are somehow still in it by the time the deadline rolls around, they go out and try to get a fourth starter or some long relief help...John Bale and Nomo just isn't going to cut it.
But the front of the rotation is solid. Meche hasn't done anything overpowering so far, but he's done alright this year. Grienke has been lights out to this point, and Bannister is the best pitcher in MLB that you've never heard of.

John Bale BLOWS!! Half their losses have come in games he's pitched in. And they have to get rid of Nomo sooner rather than later. Yeah, two years ago it would have been cool to see him get his career back on track, but now he just pisses me off. It'll be tough with the type of division they're in, but I would love to see them in WC contention by the deadline...

What's interesting about the Royals this year is that when they started 9-0 in 2003, they weren't getting nearly the credit then as they are now.
This Royals team is two or three times better than that 2003 team in terms of talent.

Our little David is all grown up and made it to the big time.
SIDENOTE: I was in Disney last year when they were doing an MLB thing, found out C.C. Sabathia was being interviewed, and made a sign that says "I Don't Know Who He Is But He Looks Important" and was right behind the interview the whole time... unfortunately it never made it past ESPNEWS

Maybe the Marlins are for real. It will be interesting to see them when they play a good team. They have been beating some weak teams. I work right next to the stadium and might try to go to a few games...I know for sure I'm going June 6th when they play the Reds. I also might go next Tuesday the 29th but don't know who they are playing.
