Yeah I agree, the game looks pretty good in comparison to it's predicessors. If they can get the graphics and bugs down pat, then this game could be the best yet. Wonder what EA is going to do..

As of right now its dead. As of right now its dying, its not like its official theres never gonna be another NHL again... that would mean its dead, but right now its dying because that will probably become sooner or later... |

it wouldnt really matter to me, i just hate seeing hockey plays on the SC top 10 plays that just ruins it i mean i like to see football plays and basetball and baseball plays rather than hockey just my preference tho

dont get me wrong that is good the fights and stuff but when a guy does some shot where he fakes out the goalie just doesnt excite me as much as seeing Ray Lewis take someones head off, or Kobe or someone do a huge dunk. Or see the Marlins turn a crazy DP that is what gets me going

And that's a reason why the NHL is on strike, it doesn't interest a lot of people. I won't watch it on TV, but if I go to a game, I love every minute of it. I'll watch it on TV, but I would much rather go to Tate Rink and see the Black Knights beat up on someone. |

before anyone gets angry, please be aware I mean NO harm in my statement. I can tell a lot of people here prefer other sports to hockey. Now, I believe it is because there are much better established sports in many of the big markets in the US, which means most sports fans don't really enjoy hockey as much as other sports. Me obviously, living in Toronto, love hockey and do miss the excitement of the playoffs and that. What I'm trying to say is you have to live in a hockey crazy city (like Toronto, Montreal for ex) where other major sports are not so big (or there are no teams -- One NBA team in Toronto, one MLB team in Toronto -- both arent great. No NFL -- CFL is small time. College hoops and football = non existant.) I think to really appriciate a sport like hockey, you really gotta live in or around a hockey atmosphere at some point. Again, just my opinions, not taking shots at anyone or any place  |
