I just got my Fifa 2005, and am going to do a soccer dynasty. This will knock your socks off, but I gotta choose a team. Should I go for the MLS?
EDIT: I've been trying to get together a horse racing dynasty on my good ol' Gallop Racer 2003, but I supposed it would be no good without in-game pictures (No digital camera.)

If I do MLS, I have to use my hometown MetroStars. Just a heads-up about that.

I don't even know a player on the team, and I met half of them a while ago.

Jeez, at least I know one guy. He cost us 2 points the last time we met, but he's injured for tonight's match between the Metros and the Revs. EDIT: Oops, forgot one thing. His name's Taylor Twellman.

Don't do the MLS, do a real league, like the English Premireship instead. Nothing like a leage with Man. United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and many other great clubs.
Do that, or go Spanish soccer, either one would be cool.

The Spanish, Italian, English and German leagues are best imo.

Too late... I decided to go local. Not doing so would be like picking the Japanese Baseball League.
EDIT: I can't do the Premiership, and I just know and like the MLS and the Metros more, so there really was no choice

Actually, the New York/New Jersey part of the team name was cut off in 1998. They are now just the Metrostars.

Sorry, I don't exactly follow the MLS religiously.

No way it was '98, I could of sworn it was later than that.

Don't blame me. Blame Wikipedia.
"In 1998, the New York/New Jersey MetroStars dropped the 'New York/New Jersey' tag, becoming simply the 'MetroStars'." - Wikipedia

I have FIFA 2002, and they are recognized as the New York/New Jersey Metrostars. That can't be right.

Yeah, same in 2005, but they're wrong.
Anyways, I got a season preview up. I won't be able to start the dynasty until July, so don't rate me low asking for updates.

Just for the record, FIFA doesn't care about it's soccer franchise, which is why they are still NY/NJ in the game
